Thank you to all of the parents, family and community members who helped the SAA with this fundraiser and supported Sidney Athletics! And of course, a big thank you to our t-ballers for helping to draw our winners today!🤩

It's official. On July 11th, after 11 AMAZING YEARS of playing 11 HOURS of SOCCER for OUR FAVORITE #11, we will host our final Kick for Cass at Thomas College.

It has been an extraordinary journey of love with our soccer family and community, with over 100 hours of game time, raising thousands of dollars to support local youth soccer.

Our last, bittersweet event will again host dozens of high school boys and girls soccer players from around the state for Maine’s favorite charitable soccer play day. High school teams, be sure to register soon! We invite everyone to attend a special memorial ceremony to honor Cassidy at noon. All Messalonskee and Central Maine United alumni soccer players are invited to join in a walkout ceremony to stand in an 11 formation one last time. A final friendly game will follow for alumni who wish to play.

The community is invited to join us for the ceremony, stay for lunch, pick up your commemorative 2026 Kick for Cass t-shirt (retro shirts and other merch available too) and cheer on your hometown teams!

Watch for our 11-year look-back posts starting soon as we celebrate this incredible event, our supporters and volunteers, and count down to July 11th! Share your memories and tag us!

We will have an SAA board member at the pits from 5-6pm every night Monday-Friday this week, collecting raffles and we will be allowing tballers to turn in first thing Saturday morning!

SAA's youth participants are selling raffle tickets this Spring to raise money for our fields! Reach out to your favorite Sidney baseball, softball or t-ball player for a ticket.

🎟️ Tickets are $10 each
⏰ Drawing will be June 6, 2026
Winners will be notified by phone

🏆 Help our kiddos out! All funds raised will go toward SAA's efforts to bring stadium lights and a playground to our field complex! We have 1500 tickets to sell to meet our goal this Spring. Lets make it happen Sidney!💪⚾️🥎

📸 PICTURE DAY SCHEDULE FOR T-BALL & ROOKIES THIS SATURDAY 5/16!!!

We will have the snack shack open for ONE MORNING ONLY from 8:00-11:00AM selling 🍳🥓breakfast sandwiches, 🍩donuts, snacks, 🍫candy, ☕️coffee and 💦water!

We will also be collecting 🎟️Cash Raffles🎟️ and will have extra tickets on hand for all you over achievers😁 Thank you all so much for all your hard work with this fundraiser so far! We can't wait to see who the big winners will be!🤑
