White Mountain FC

White Mountain FC Competitive club soccer program for the children of the White Mountains offering a higher level of play for those interested in maximizing their skill set.

The vision of the White Mountain Football Club (WMFC) is to provide the children of the White Mountains with a regionally-united competitive soccer program to develop the skills necessary to prepare for high school soccer and beyond. White Mountain FC is hosted by AYSO Region #470 and overseen/managed by WMFC Task Force, which is ideally comprised of members from each community/school represented

on the team. Communities may decline representation, although it is our preference for a diverse task force to ensure longevity of the program.

Our 12U and 14U WMFC boys teams attended the annual end-of-season celebration at a Phoenix Rising match. The boys had the unique opportunity to stand field-side during warmups, greeting players with handshakes and words of encouragement as they prepared for the match. To make the night even more memorable, the Phoenix Rising staff invited our 14U boys to serve as ball boys during the game!
The excitement continued as Phoenix Rising earned a 2-0 victory over Sacramento Republic, giving our players an unforgettable experience and a chance to see high-level soccer up close.

We would also like to give a very special shout-out to Coach Mike and Cari Lindquist. Not only did Coach Mike take on the challenge of coaching two teams this season, but both Mike and Cari continuously go above and beyond for our program and our the players. At the game they surprised the teams with custom t-shirts celebrating the remarkable seasons both teams achieved. Their generosity and dedication mean so much to our players and families.

WMFC Travel Soccer hit the road to Albuquerque, NM last weekend and our players left it all on the field. ⚽

Across every division, our teams battled through tough competition, a stubborn stomach bug making its rounds, and some challenging calls that didn’t always go our way. But what stood out most? The heart.

Sunday was our strongest day across the board. Adjustments were made. Teammates lifted each other.

10U – Fought for every ball and never backed down. They had such close, low scoring games, losing by 1 each time. πŸ’š
12U – Tournament CHAMPIONS! πŸ† They pulled off a 1st place finish with strong teamwork, positive energy, composure, and sharp soccer skills when it mattered most. Incredible teamwork and grit.
14U Boys – Tough, close losses throughout the weekend and capped it off with a hard-earned tie on Sunday. They kept grinding and showed real resilience. πŸ’ͺ
14U Girls – Continued to battle, support one another, and play with determination until the final whistle. They didn't pull out a W, but are growing their soccer skills with every game.
16/18U Boys – Bumped up to compete in 19U and rose to the challenge, tying two games on Sunday against older competition. The skill and competitive spirit our on the field is admirable!
16/18U Girls – Also were bumped up to 19U and made a statement with a dominant 7–0 win on Sunday. πŸ”₯ Incredible teamwork and ex*****on.

Wins and losses are part of the journey, but resilience, growth, and unity are what define this club. Proud of every single player for battling through adversity and representing WMFC with determination and class.

On to the next one. πŸ’šβš½

What a weekend for WMFC! ⚽️

Our teams showed heart, hustle, and beautiful soccer skills from start to finish. So proud of every player who stepped on the field!
πŸ”₯ 10U finished with BIG energy. 2nd in their bracket and flight- bringing home a second-place championship medal!
πŸ’₯ 12U finished 2nd in their bracket and 2nd in their flight, winning two games. An unfortunate red card kept them out of the tournament final and a chance to defend last year’s championship, but they battled hard and had an outstanding showing.
πŸ’ͺ 14U Girls finished 3rd in their bracket and 5th out of 8 in their flight. They won their final game with only 10 players, fighting through injuries and showing some serious grit!
πŸ† 14U Boys tied their first game, won their second, and kept building momentum all weekend. They took 1st in their bracket and finished 4th out of 12 in their flight, making it to the semifinals!
🌟 16/18U Girls were bumped up into a 19U bracket and fought hard, working well together and never backing down from the challenge.
So much growth and determination was displayed.
⚑ 16/18U Boys won their second game despite being bumped up to a 19U bracket as well. They displayed great passing and teamwork- finishing 5th in their flight.

Proud to be WMFC.πŸ’šβš½
