When the spin is right, the movement is nasty, and the hitter has absolutely no idea where it’s going… that’s what we LOVE to see.

This girl has been putting in the work, trusting the process, and learning how to make that ball MOVE. Watching everything start to click is one of my favorite parts of coaching.

Keep working. Keep spinning it. Keep making hitters uncomfortable. 😏

From her toughest critic… to FLYING. 💜🥎🔥

There was a time when this BE girl could not make a mistake without immediately getting down on herself.

One bad pitch could turn into doubt.
One little mistake could become the only thing she saw.
She expected perfection from herself and sometimes forgot to see just how talented she really was.

But look at her now. 🥹

She is learning to let go.
To trust the work.
To compete instead of overthink.
To give herself grace.
To believe in the pitcher she is becoming.

And when she finally stopped being the one holding herself back… she started to FLY. 🪽

THIS is the growth I love to see.

Because becoming a great pitcher is not only about what your arm can do. It is about what happens between your ears and inside your heart.

You do not have to be perfect to be powerful.

I hope she sees what I see when she steps into that circle: a strong, capable, talented young woman who is just beginning to realize how high she can fly.

Keep going, kid. You are only getting started. 💜🔥

🥎 Your Story Isn’t Defined by One Season. 🥎

Sometimes the hardest part of softball isn’t the game itself. It’s walking through a season where you lose confidence, question your abilities, or feel unseen.

I’ve had the privilege of watching two incredible athletes push through a season that challenged them mentally. It wasn’t easy, but they refused to let one experience define who they are or what they’re capable of becoming.

They kept showing up.
They kept working.
They kept believing.

Now they’re stronger, more confident, and more determined than ever.

To every athlete who has ever doubted themselves because of a difficult season, remember this:

One coach does not determine your worth.
One season does not define your future.
One setback does not erase your talent.

Keep working. Keep believing in yourself. The right environment, the right support, and your own determination can reignite the confidence that was always there.

I couldn’t be more proud of these two and the resilience they’ve shown. The best chapters of their softball journey are still ahead of them.

Success in softball isn’t built in the spotlight. It’s built in the empty cages, the early mornings, the extra bucket of balls, the sore muscles, and the decision to keep going when nobody is watching.

Talent might get you noticed, but hard work, discipline, and resilience are what keep you on the field.

The game taught me more than just how to throw a ball. It taught me confidence, discipline, leadership, and how to keep pushing even when things get hard. 💜🥎

After 20+ years of playing and 15 years of coaching, I still love being on the field and helping the next generation grow in the game I love. From pitching mechanics to building confidence at the plate, my goal is to help athletes Dare to BE their best both on and off the field.
