Stretching might feel good in the moment — but if it’s not solving the problem, it’s not the solution.

Here’s the truth:
🧠 Tight muscles are often weak, not short.
🏋️‍♀️ Strength training through range builds long-term mobility.
⚠️ Passive stretching doesn’t fix control or stability.

It’s not that stretching is bad — it’s just incomplete.

🥾 Feeling wrecked halfway through your hike?

It’s not your fitness.
It’s probably your fuel.

👉 Real food = real energy = real recovery.

Pack foods with as few ingredients as possible.

Your body needs nutrients — not factory science — to stay strong mile after mile.

🥬 Spinach? Lasts days if packed right.
🧀 Cheese, dried fruits, nuts, seeds? Absolute trail gold.
🥄 Olive oil and butter? Tiny weight, massive calories.

And don’t skip town chores:

Grab a salad.
Drink a kombucha.
Load up on fresh fruits + veggies whenever you can.

You’ll thank yourself when you’re still moving strong after everyone else bonks.

“If I’m not sore, it didn’t work.”

Soreness is not a reliable measure of a good workout. What actually matters?

✔️ Are you getting stronger?
✔️ Is your pain going down?
✔️ Are you more confident and capable on the trail?

Smart training is about progress, not punishment.

If soreness is keeping you from showing up consistently or crushing your hikes, it’s time for a better approach.
