USATF National Junior Olympic Championships🏆

Liam competed in 3 events this past week and we couldn’t be prouder!!

💥Javelin - 5th out of 16 in his flight, 34th overall, threw a PB of 97’5”🔥🔥

💥Shot Put - 5th out of 14 in his flight, 29th overall🔥🔥
💥
Discus - 4th out of 12 in his flight, 35th overall🔥🔥

A highlight for Liam was competing with and meeting athletes from all over the country!

We are SO PROUD of you Liam….you’re future in track & field is BRIGHT!!!😎

USATF National Junior Olympics Championships🏆

💥2000m SC 7:29.12….16th place overall, 4th 13 year old, PR🔥🔥

💥800m 2:25.18 ….46th place overall, 16th 13 year old🔥🔥

💥3000m 10:27.85….37th place overall, 10th 13 year old🔥🔥

Declan had an awesome finish to his season and already has BIG goals for next year! A highlight of the week was running under the stadium lights Friday night with lots of screaming fans!📣

He’s ready for fall cross country season and hoping to qualify for USATF XC Nationals being held in Louisiana in December!

Congratulations Declan…..a great week to be a RACER indeed!!

💥Long jump: 2.58m 43rd in the Nation for 7-8 yr old girls…..just .01 off her PR🔥🔥

Ingrid had a great first season with ORVR track and it showed in her performance at Nationals!

It’s been fun to watch her grow throughout the season….trying new events and distances and improving as an athlete! I think she would agree that the most enjoyable part of her
JO experience was meeting girls from all over the country! It was fun to watch her compete while having fun with everyone around her!

Awesome job Ingrid!! It was a great week to be a RACER!!!

Good luck to Ingrid, Liam, and Declan today at USATF Nationals!!

✨Ingrid will compete in her final event….long jump!!✨

💥Liam will be opening his competition today with the javelin!! He will also compete in shot put and discus this weekend!!💥

👟Declan will wrap up his JO journey with the 3000m tonight!👟

We are so proud of all 3 of these RACERS and all the hard work they have put in!!

Congratulations to Declan Jenkins for a 16th place finish overall in the 13-14 boys 2000m SC today!! He ran a smart race and ended with a HUGE PR by over 15 seconds!!!🔥🔥

He finished 3rd in his heat and 3rd out of the 13 y/o competitors!!
