We had quite a scare this week. Pure Confidence developed colic on Saturday, 11 days after foaling. She was rushed to Hagyard Equine Medical Institute for surgery. Her condition was very guarded for the first few days. Thanks to the great care from Drs. Nathan Slovis, Cole Sandow and the expert team at Hagyards, the mare and the foal are coming home today. PC is the firstborn in our breeding program. She is 12 years old and a real fighter!

In 2026 we will have four 2 year old trainees. First one to arrive at Horseshoe Indianapolis Racing & Casino is filly Sum Kinda Tango, sired by late stallion Calculator, out of MSW Tango Run. She is a half sister to Our Jalapeno. Foaled at Breakway Farm L.L.C., raised in KY. Early training with Joseph Ni**od at Waseda Farm. Looking forward to see her race!

Unfortunately the Barn 8 quarantine has not been lifted yet, so Our Jalapeno had to scratch today. He and all the other horses in the barn seem to be fine. Just waiting for test results.
