A few weeks ago, Rival member Sheila Weaver fell down 14 stairs. Bruised. Banged up. Sore.
But somehow, no broken bones.
The next day, she was walking the beach and enjoying life.
Now, we’re not claiming strength training makes you invincible. But we do know that years of consistent resistance training can improve strength, balance, and bone density—things that become increasingly important as we age.
Sheila has put in that work for years.
Her story is a powerful reminder that strength training isn’t just about looking better. It’s about building a body that’s more resilient, more capable, and better prepared for whatever life throws your way.
The goal isn’t to avoid every fall.
The goal is to build a body that’s prepared when one happens.
We’re proud of you, Sheila. ❤️
