What a way to wrap up our 2026 racing season. ❤️🏁
We packed up, hit the road with some of our racing friends, and headed to a new track for the kiddos to experience. A great road trip, great racing, new challenges, and quite the experience at the track. Watching these kids push themselves, learn, adapt, and race their hearts out made every mile worth it.
But as this season comes to an end, I find myself most grateful for the moments in between the racing with Reese.
For him reaching for me when the nerves start to set in. For sharing all the emotions — the excitement, the nerves, the disappointment, the pride — together. For listening to him run through his checklist with me, making sure he has everything just right. For tucking him in at night, then tightening those belts what feels like a million times before they head out onto the track.
These are the moments I know I’ll miss someday.
The racing is exciting. The trophies and finishes are special. The road trips and friendships are memories we’ll carry with us. But getting to stand beside him through all of it — to be the person he reaches for when he’s nervous and the person he shares his excitement with when he’s proud — that’s the part I’ll always treasure most.
So grateful for this season, for the people we’ve met along the way, for our racing family, and most of all, for this little boy who keeps teaching me that the best part of the journey isn’t always what happens on the track.
Sometimes, it’s everything that happens before and after it. ❤️
Until next season, we’ll be soaking in every last memory. 🏁❤️
