Crandon Brush Run is in the books. It wasn't really a successful weekend, but consistency has been the key so far and I am going into ERX Motor Park still sitting 3rd in points.

Friday practice: fastest lap times

Saturday: we were only about a lap in and I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. One kart got into another just after the barn turn and that kart hit me. I spun out and the kart wouldn't go again. My rear sprocket exploded and I took a DNF.

Sunday: I was starting 8th and had a rookie moment when the green flag dropped and snubbed out the kart. So, I started dead last in 15th. I was bringing the mail and made it up to 5th when a kart stalled on the track and another ran into it hard. The race was called. Thankfully, Caleb and Greyson are both okay and feeling better today!

Next stop: ERX in a few short weeks

Who's coming to the Big House this weekend?

The Holtger Bros., Inc. Mod Kart class is about to turn up the speed as the series leaves tight Antigo and heads for the fast lanes of Crandon.

Defending champ Lincoln Mandsager still leads the points. He picked up right where he left off in Wheatland with a dominant win on Saturday. Sunday looked similar until bad luck struck, forcing him back to a 10th place finish.

Collin Paitl is on the move, now just 8 points back. He came into Antigo chasing podiums and delivered. A hard-fought 2nd on Saturday marked his first podium of the year, followed by a strong 3rd on Sunday after working through traffic.

Right behind him, just 1 point back, is Corbyn Wassenberg. After a 7th place run Saturday while battling up front, he bounced back Sunday with a 2nd place finish, securing his third podium of the season.

Race Visser sits 4th in points, 10 back from the lead. He charged to a 5th on Saturday, then powered through a hurt motor on Sunday to grab an impressive 4th.

Caleb Bell rounds out the top 5 and made a big jump in the standings. He earned his first podium of the year with a 3rd on Saturday, then followed it up with a solid 6th on Sunday.

The points battle is already tightening up. Crandon is next. Who makes their move?
