We’re making our way back to the Bullring for the first event of the Legacy Outlaw Kart Series season, and we’re kicking things off in a big way.

Sissy has the speed when she wants to use it but just likes to make laps at her own pace haha. She says she’s ready for indoor haha. Something is wrong with this kid.

What a great two nights for Weston in the restricted class. Made some changes for the 2nd night and he was on it in the main with some close calls on the 1 lap after that ran the leader down and was all over him for the rest of the race. Weston had the speed and the fastest laps while in traffic the whole time so we will take that and try to do again this next weekend.

1st off I want to say thank you to Nate Fuchs and Justin Reinolds for never giving up on my kid and never blaming him on why the kart isn’t doing what yall want it too. Yall have put in lots of time and effort this season for Weston and I, we appreciate every bit of it. After getting the frame situation fixed we are back on the track we want to be on and making small changes to get him rolling better. We have the speed just need to end the night with a good handling kart and I think we might have something for some of them.

Thank you to all the ppl that follow along and the ones that support us. We appreciate everyone and hope to keep making improvements.

🏁 BIG WES — POST RACE REPORT 🏁
Cycleland Speedway — Showcase Showdown

Not exactly the night we wanted, but definitely some positives to take home!

💥 Dash: Started 2nd → Finished 4th
💥 A Main: Started 4th → Finished 4th

We had the kart setup way better on Tuesday, but we still have some work to do to get it exactly where we need it.

Unfortunately, the header bolts decided they wanted to back out on Lap 3 😅 so there’s that… Definitely not how we wanted the night to go, but we’ll get it fixed and come back stronger.

Huge THANK YOU to Justin and Nate for working nonstop both days to keep Big Wes going and making changes to get this kart better. We appreciate you guys more than you know!

And a special thank you to the wife for handling business behind the scenes and keeping everything moving. ❤️

We’ll take the lessons, go back to work, and get this thing where we know it can be.

Made it to the dash for the night. Hopefully we can get this kart to handle better and we can be up there fighting for a top spot.

Karts are in the speed lab for a couple more weeks then back to racing.

Hopefully all the maintenance and some new goodie’s will get us where we need to be.

Well English creek didn’t go as planned but over all Big Wes and I learned a lot about a new chassis and gave it everything we could.

Made some good connections for the east coast to go run millbridge.

If anyone thinks the west coast tracks do some funky stuff I would suggest yall come run these tracks haha 🤣
