ABA SHASTA CASCADE – EVENT #8 RESULTS TRINITY LAKE
The final event of the 2026 ABA Shasta Cascade Region season is officially in the books, and what an incredible way to finish the year.
Trinity Lake showed out with big bags, quality fish, and a final day that had teams battling for every ounce and every AOY point.
After a season of competition, dedication, and early mornings on the water, we wrapped up another outstanding year with a great group of anglers and supporters.
Congratulations to Jacob Fleming and Eric Fleming for taking the Event #8 victory with an impressive 24.72-pound limit. That's the kind of bag it takes to win on Trinity, and they put together a phenomenal day on the water.
Top Finishers:
1st – Jacob Fleming / Eric Fleming – 24.72 2nd
Hayden Pitt / Drew Forrister – 24.01 3rd
Travis Starnes / Tyler Marinkovich – 23.92 4th
Jason Sherman / Bill McLaughlin – 23.72 5th
Jason Milligan / Tony Bolman – 23.71
Big Fish of the tournament went to Nick Wood and Justin Gordon with an impressive 7.81-pound Trinity Lake giant.
thank you to every angler who fished with us this season. Whether you competed in one event or all eight, your support is what makes this region possible. We have seen new faces join the trail, longtime competitors continue to raise the bar, and some of the closest AOY races we've ever had.
A special thank you goes out to our sponsors and local businesses that continue to support our anglers and our fishing community:
Tug Life
Mr B Lure Company
Phil's Propellers
Shasta Lakeshore Retreat
Lake Shasta Caverns

Camp Shasta
Highway Specialty CO., INC
Please support the businesses that support tournament fishing.
I also want to personally thank everyone who helped throughout the season, specially my wife! Mandie Pfennig-Baver from registration and weigh-ins to the anglers who continue to promote the region and help it grow. The support has been incredible.
AOY standings and season-ending awards information will be posted soon.
Until then, thank you for an amazing 2026 season. Safe travels, tight lines, and we'll see you all again next year.
