What a wonderful day of dressage! We had 31 rides, ranging from Lead Line Walk all the way through Prix St. Georges.
A special congratulations to Melissa Tomasello and Lance, who once again rocked the house with their phenomenal Elvis freestyle (I may or may not have been dancing on the porch!) Their performance earned an incredible score of 71.618%!
A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful judge, Heidi Lemack, and our scribe, Carolyn Montgomery, for their expertise, professionalism, and teamwork throughout the day. Thank you as well to Katelin Jackman, our announcer, who keeps everything running smoothly and on schedule (and me sane).
And to my amazing barn family, who unexpectedly stepped in and took over for me: Melissa Tomasello, Cristina Capanescu, and especially Katharine Krasson - this show simply would not have happened without your help, dedication, and willingness to do whatever was needed. I can't thank you enough!
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Gail and Charlie Pratt for the use of their beautiful Saddlebrook Ridge Equestrian Center. The facility is always stunning, but on days like this it truly shines.
Thank you to all our riders, volunteers, friends, and supporters for making the day such a success. We look forward to seeing everyone at our next show September 6th with our judge Stephen Hayes (L) and a clinic with him the following day!
