Today marks ONE year of the Line Creek Legends! We did our first ever tryout a year ago today. In honor of that, we just wanted to share a little about our coach who started it all! Coach Daniel truly puts blood sweat and tears into this organization! 🩵
People see the practices, tournaments, and game days, but not always the years of experience and heart behind them.
Coach Daniel’s love for baseball began early. After playing competitively and pitching at Georgia Southwestern, he coached with the Bama Bombers and spent three years at Pleasant Grove High School in Alabama coaching varsity baseball and football.
During that time, Pleasant Grove finished as 5A AHSAA football state runner up , reached back-to-back Elite- Eight in baseball, and captured consecutive area titles.
Known for his expertise in pitching and player development, Coach Daniel has always been driven by a passion for teaching the game the right way and investing in kids. That vision led him to start the Line Creek Legends last year —a place where players grow, families belong, and character matters as much as wins and losses.
But before he’s Coach Daniel, he’s Dad. His family has been blessed with four amazing children—two boys and two girls—and they are his greatest joy. Whether cheering for our oldest daughter Riley, helping coach Pat- Pat’s 6U team, or supporting whichever child has the next event, family always comes first.
In his free time, he enjoys running, afternoons by the pool, and supporting the Senoia community he is grateful to call home to!
Through the busy days, we cherish the friendships and families who have become part of our story.
He has spent late nights talking with parents, thrown countless bullpens & BP, and pours himself into these boys.
He celebrates their successes, shares their struggles, and loves watching them grow into young men.
People often ask how Line Creek Legends has grown. The answer is simple: faith, family, passion, and a coach who truly loves kids and the game.
We are proud of what we have built, but even more proud of the people that we have been blessed to build it with. And WE know the best is still ahead.
