🎉 Fairwood, it’s time to celebrate! 🎉

Join us for the 6th Annual Fairwood Celebration at Petrovitsky Park on Friday, August 29 for a FREE day of fun for the whole community! 🌳

🏃 9:30 a.m. – Community Fun Run
🎪 10 a.m. – Family-friendly activities, vendors & food trucks
🎶 12 p.m. – Live music and more activities
🎬 8:30 p.m. – Big Backyard Movie: Zootopia 2

Come spend the day connecting with neighbors, enjoying the park, supporting local vendors, and celebrating what makes the Fairwood community so special.

This partnership covers 2 programs that help close the gap to outdoor access with public transit - Trailhead Direct and Community Van.

Only 4 more weekends to catch the bus Trailhead Direct bus to hiking trails in the Issaquah Alps and Mount Si!

It's been a joy seeing so many people taking public transportation to the trails these past few months and we're excited to finish out the summer strong. Plan your next hiking adventure on our website at https://trailheaddirect.org/

This project seeks to ease vehicle congestion, reduce safety hazards and expand access to hiking destinations along I-90. Trailhead Direct is provided by King County Metro, in partnership with King County Parks and Seattle Department of Transportation and sponsored by Amazon.
