Let me ask the uncomfortable question.

You have spent real money on this already. Camps, showcases, hotel nights, gas, training, weekend after weekend.

So name one coach who saw your kid because of it. One coach who knew your athlete's name, position, and grad year because of a specific thing you paid for.

If you cannot, that was not exposure. That was activity.

Every week a parent tells me a coach went silent and their athlete is crushed.

Too late is rarely the real problem. Wrong plan for the year you are actually in is the real problem.

A junior with no contacts yet does not need to do more of what a freshman does. He needs a different strategy entirely, moving faster, targeting differently.

Families who catch up are the ones who change the plan the week they notice the clock, not the ones who just send more emails.

Nobody tells families that a grad year comes with an expiration date built in.

What works as a sophomore doesn't work as a junior, and what works as a junior doesn't work in the fall of senior year. Same effort, a completely different plan required.

Georgia Tech families run into a version of recruiting most sports parents never have to think about. It is not enough to be wanted by the program. The school has to say yes too, on its own terms, and it does not bend those for anyone.

Most families spend all their energy on one side of that. Fit gets chased first, or grades get handled first, but rarely both at the same time.
