Some people have a way of making you believe in yourself a little more, and Montene is one of those people.

She’s a true horsewoman, but what makes her special goes far beyond her knowledge of horses. She doesn’t just teach people to ride; she builds confidence, speaks life into others, and sees potential in people long before they see it in themselves.

Whether she’s working with a young child taking their first steps in the saddle or an adult learning something new, she has a way of teaching lessons that reach far beyond the arena. Patience, perseverance, responsibility, and the courage to believe in yourself.

She’s more than a trainer or a teacher. She’s a role model, an encourager, and someone who makes a lasting impact on the people lucky enough to learn from her. No matter the age.

She's the heart behind the barn, the voice that reminds us we're capable of more than we realize, and the kind of person who leaves confidence and courage in everyone she teaches. And that is what makes Montene so special. 💖

Mane Highlight Today!

Meet Symphony! A NewVocations Grad (‘25), she breaks the stereotype of the “red mare” theory. While she IS still a stubborn mare, she is sweet as sugar cream pie! This girl adds Flare and Fancy wherever she steps a hoof. Shes very serious about her job, her favorite person, and her cookies!
NightSong Stable is so proud to have her here!

Only the top time will count. RUNNING events (not roping) may only enter twice on the same horse, but 4 times total if you have a second horse. Ropers may run 4 times on the same horse.
You may only run the mystery event ONCE.
ALL events will be pointed and awarded.
For your safety, the first mystery event, drunken Barrel Race, will NOT involve a horse. You will wear drunk goggles, therefore, the safety of you and the horse is important.

Looking so forward to seeing everyone and meeting NEW friends!
See y'all Saturday!
LET'S HAVE SOME FUN TOGETHER!!!

Khloe Jane Damschen

NightSong Stable has so many special individuals; some with 4 legs, some with 2. We will be spotlighting a two legged member of the farm each month.

This month we want to share the incredible story of Khloe Jane Damschen.

She began visiting NightSong stable because of her sister’s obsession with horses. Khloe was so timid even asking multiple times if horses eat humans!

When she finally dug deep and found the courage to climb aboard the smallest pony on the farm, it ended quite badly. We all thought that was the end of Khloe Jane’s horse venture.

But we were wrong!!!

She not only has conquered her fear but she has SOARED to accomplish every obstacle in her path to learn horsemanship both on the ground and on the horse’s back. She has a new goal now to become a barrel racer. We know she will accomplish this as well with the grit and determination that she has every other goal set before her. NightSong Stable is so proud and honored to have Khloe Jane as an important member of this farm.
