Squad time starts at 7:30 PM, so we recommend checking in by 6:30 PM to get signed up, settled in, and ready to bowl.

Okay fine… we are a little sad. All those strikes, spares, high-fives, and “I totally meant to do that” moments coming to an end? It hurts.

BUT WAIT—before you pack away those lucky bowling socks… SUMMER LEAGUES are rolling in this May and bringing the fun right back where it belongs! ☀️🔥

And if that wasn’t enough… get ready for our Tuesday Summer No-Tap Doubles Tournament, kicking off June 2nd! Nothing says summer like knocking down “strikes” with your favorite bowling partner every week 😎🎳

What an incredible final weekend of the 45th Annual No-Tap Tournament! 🎳🔥

The battle for the top spots came right down to the wire where EVERY pin mattered! We saw amazing scores, unforgettable moments, and some fierce competition every weekend.

A huge THANK YOU goes out to all of the group leaders and everyone who came out to bowl in this year’s tournament. Your support, energy, and dedication are what make this event so special year after year. ❤️

We also want to give a big shoutout to the amazing staff at Idle Hours South for all of their hard work throughout the tournament. None of this would be possible without you!

The No-Tap Committee is now hard at work getting everything finalized before checks can be sent out. We’ll post another update once everything is officially complete, but checks will be mailed to captains or group leaders on or before Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make the 45th Annual No-Tap Tournament another huge success. We can’t wait to see many of you again at the Turkey Bowl and/or future tournaments here at Idle Hours South! 🦃🎳

🎳☀️ MONDAY YOUTH/ADULT SUMMER LEAGUE starts TONIGHT at Idle Hours South! ☀️🎳

📍 Meeting starts at 6:30PM
🎳 Bowling kicks off at 7PM

There’s STILL room to join! Teams can have 2-4 bowlers with at least 1 adult per team. Bowl together for 12 weeks of strikes, friendly competition, and summer fun! 😎🔥

***REMINDER***
The Anthracite Valley USBC Annual Open Meeting is this Wednesday (May 06, 2026) at 7pm at Idle Hours South. This meeting is open to all adult and youth members and attendance is strongly encouraged. We will be electing four Directors to the AVUSBC Board as well as delegates to both the 2027 PAUSBC Meeting and the 2027 National USBC Convention/Meeting in Las Vegas. Also remaining award glasses will be available for presentation to those who have not received them yet.

Bowlers this is YOUR Association. Come to the meeting so you can offer suggestions and input, meet and vote for AVUSBC Board Members, check out our awards, or just come to say hi. Our Association can’t be successful without YOU!
