I was kind of dead to the world yesterday and didn't quite get around to posting some extracurricular activities as relates to this weekend's Platte Valley Pro Am.

Congrats to Hayden Green for being crowned our Champion Mustache of the Year! His mustache was about as dirty as they come and he rocked that thing with confidence all weekend!

Also attached is the Sand Box from Saturday's Best Ball. While there is no prize for being in the Sand Box, there is some peer review that relates. Congrats to those who shot exceptional scores on that beast of a golf course on Saturday, I think...? Don't forget that handicap is not your average score, rather is supposed to be the average of your best scores...

Congratulations to amateur Parker Paxton from Riverton, WY for winning to 2026 Platte Valley Pro Am. Paxton, a junior at the University of Colorado, held off Mark Baldwin of Mesa, AZ to join Nate Lashley as the only two amateurs to win this event. This was the second year in a row that Mark Baldwin finished as the Runner-Up in the professional division.

Dustin Volk of Layton, UT finished as this year's Low Senior (50+) for the second time in three seasons. Our very own Brock Ehler finished as the 50+ Runner-Up and Jaren Calkins of Lander, WY finished as this year's Runner-Up Low Amateur.

Big thanks to all the participants and all the wonderful sponsors for making this event possible! This year's event featured record revenue and a new record for the professional purse and that wouldn't be possible without all the support! Let's plan on doing it again next season!
