𝑨𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒕 🤝 𝑭𝒂𝒍𝒄𝒐𝒏 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍

BIGGG TIMEEEE CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Addy Brandt (Addy brandt | 2028 | OF | 16U Catalyst National Smyth | Lakeville, MN) on her commitment to continue her academic and athletic career playing softball at the University of Wisconsin–River Falls! ❤️🤍🖤

This is Addy's third year with Catalyst and she has become the definition of a player who simply gets it done. She does not need the spotlight, the recognition or the attention. She shows up, works incredibly hard, competes, performs at a high level and lets her game do the talking. And there is A LOT to her game.

Addy is an incredibly dynamic athlete whose speed can change a game in so many different ways. As a left-handed hitter, she can beat you with the short game, use her speed to put pressure on a defense, drive the gaps and create chaos every time she gets on base. Put her in the outfield and that same athleticism takes over — she covers a ton of ground, plays fearless defense and has an absolute cannon for an arm!

One of our favorite things about Addy is just how steady she is. You know exactly what you are going to get from her every single day. She puts her head down, goes to work and consistently finds a way to make an impact. No need for credit, just a really, really good softball player who works incredibly hard and does her job at a high level.

The combination of speed, athleticism, versatility and dependability makes Addy a special player, but who she is as a teammate and person makes us even more proud to coach her. We have loved having a front-row seat to her growth over these last few years and could not be more excited to see where she takes her game next.

A HUGE congratulations to Addy and the entire Brandt family, and thank you for trusting Catalyst to be part of this journey. UW–River Falls is getting a SPECIAL athlete and an even better human. We cannot wait to watch you kill it, Addy! ❤️🖤

𝑹𝒆𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝑺𝒕𝒐𝒘𝒎𝒂𝒏 🤝 𝑩𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒅𝒐𝒈 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍

BIGGGG TIMEEEE CONGRATS to our very own Reese Stowman (Reese | 2027 | SS/2B | 18U Catalyst National Lange | Delano, MN) on her commitment and scholarship acceptance to continue her academic and athletic career playing softball at the University of Minnesota Duluth! 🐾

SIX YEARS!! From a 12-year-old kid just beginning her journey with Catalyst to one of the best players to EVER wear Catalyst teal. 🥹🩵

Reese is a Catalyst lifer in every sense of the word. She has grown up in this program, trusted the process and continued to put in the work year after year. We have had a front-row seat to watch her transform into one of the most complete and dynamic players in the Midwest, and getting to see all of that work turn into a college scholarship is pretty special.

There is very little Reese cannot do on a softball field. Her athleticism at shortstop is ridiculous. She has the range and arm to make plays that most players simply cannot make, and offensively she can hurt you in about every possible way. She has game-changing speed, serious power and the ability to create chaos every time she gets on base.

What we might be proudest of is everything that happened between year one and year six. Reese did not become this player overnight. She kept showing up, working, and developing. And through all of the growth and success, Reese has remained someone we absolutely LOVE having in our program. Her work ethic, her character and the way she represents Catalyst matter just as much to us as anything she does between the lines. The Stowman family has been part of the Catalyst family for many years, which makes getting to celebrate this moment with all of them even more special!

Reese, you have earned every bit of this! We are incredibly proud of the player you have become, even more proud of the person you are, and SO thankful that Catalyst has been part of your story for the last six years! Congrats again, the Bulldogs got an absolute STUD!

𝐒&𝐂 𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐗 𝐅𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐂𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐌𝐏𝐒! 🥇🥳

18U Catalyst National Lange put together a DOMINANT weekend, going UNDEFEATED through the top bracket on Sunday and finishing it off in run-rule fashion in the championship game! 🔥

Against a weekend full of great competition, this group showed up on both sides of the ball — producing offensively, shutting teams down defensively, and playing their best softball when it mattered most.

Our offense was ROLLING, and these three were absolutely ridiculous at the plate:

➡️ Kensi Johnson (South Dakota State Softball) — .500 AVG | .667 OBP | 1.250 SLG | 1.917 OPS
Kensi was an extra-base MACHINE with 5 XBH in just 12 AB (6 BB's too), including FOUR triples 🤯 She scored 10 runs, drove in 6, and hit an absurd .800 with RISP.

➡️ Desiree Hinsch (South Dakota State Softball) — .500 AVG | 1.188 SLG | 1.688 OPS
POWER. Desiree collected 7 XBH among her 8 hits — 5 doubles + 2 bombs 💣 — while driving in a team-high 12 runs.

➡️ Olivia Oerther (UMD Bulldog Softball) — .615 AVG | .722 OBP | .769 SLG | 1.491 OPS
Good luck getting O out. 👀 She reached base at a .722 clip, added 7 RBI, and hit .667 with runners in scoring position.

In the circle, Desiree Hinsch was absolutely DEALING this weekend 😤

⚡ 16.0 IP
⚡ 3-0 Record + 1 Save
⚡ 0.00 ERA
⚡ 29 Strikeouts
⚡ .155 BAA

29 punchouts in 16 innings while allowing ZERO earned runs. 🔥

A complete team weekend from start to finish and a championship well earned. Congrats to our 18U Lange team on an awesome weekend of ball 🏆

𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒙 𝑶𝒆𝒓𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 🤝 𝑻𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒊𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍

HUUUUUUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our very own Alex Oerther (alexoerther | 2028 | 3B/C | 16U Catalyst National Smyth | Bloomington, MN) on her verbal commitment and scholarship acceptance to continue her academic and athletic career playing Division I softball at the University of St. Thomas! 💜🤍

Going into her third year with Catalyst, Alex has become one of those players you want at the plate when the game is on the line. She is as clutch as it gets, plays with confidence and brings legitimate power every single time she steps into the box.

But what makes Alex so much fun to coach goes way beyond what she can do with a bat, she COMPETES. There is no shortage of fire, energy or emotion when Alex is on the field. She plays hard, celebrates harder and brings an edge and personality that her teammates feed off of. Whether she is making a play in the field, coming through with a huge hit or being the loudest person in the dugout, you always know Alex is there!

Alex is fiery, fearless, powerful and FUN — and those are exactly the qualities that have made her such a special part of Catalyst. We have loved getting to be a part of her journey over the last few years, and we could not be more excited that she gets to continue it right here in Minnesota at the Division I level!

A HUGE congratulations to Alex and the entire Oerther family, and thank you for trusting Catalyst to be part of the ride. We cannot wait to watch you bring all that power, competitiveness and ENERGY to St. Paul. The Tommies are getting a good one! 💜🔥

𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝑳𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒓 🤝 𝑪𝒐𝒚𝒐𝒕𝒆 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍

BIGGGG TIMEEEEE CONGRATS to our very own Briley Laber (briley_laber | 2028 | SS/2B | 16U Catalyst National Smyth | Brandon, SD) on her verbal commitment and scholarship acceptance to continue her academic and athletic career playing Division I softball at the University of South Dakota! ❤️🤍🐾

This is Briley's fourth year with Catalyst and we have had the opportunity to watch Briley grow into one of those athletes who can impact a game in SO many ways. At shortstop, she plays with tremendous range, athleticism and instincts, and has the ability to make momentum swinging plays. She is smooth, confident and competitive in the middle of the field — and makes some pretty special plays look easy!

Offensively, Briley’s versatility is what makes her so dangerous. She can crush balls, find ways to get on base, execute when her team needs it and then completely change an inning with her speed once she’s on. She brings a dynamic element to our lineup and is the type of player who can beat you in more ways than one.

As talented as Briley is, the person behind the player is what we are most proud of. She is an incredibly hard worker, a great teammate and a kid who continues to show up ready to learn, compete and put the work in. She has earned this opportunity through years of consistency and commitment to her game, and getting to watch that journey firsthand has been pretty special for all of us at Catalyst!

A huge congratulations to the entire Laber family and thank you for trusting Catalyst to be a part of the journey. We cannot wait to see what the next chapter has in store for you in Vermillion — the Yotes got a GREAT one! 🐾❤️

𝑴𝒂𝒌 𝑩𝒊𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏 🤝 𝑱𝒂𝒄𝒌𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒃𝒊𝒕 𝑺𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒃𝒂𝒍𝒍

HUUUUUGEEEE CONGRATS to our very own Mak Bierman (2028 | RHP/1B | 16U Catalyst National Smyth | Sioux Falls, SD) on her verbal commitment and scholarship acceptance to continue her academic and athletic career playing Division I softball at South Dakota State University! 💙💛🐰

Mak is heading into Year 4 with Catalyst, and we could not be more proud of the player she has become. She has established herself as one of the premier two-way players in the Midwest — a BIG-TIME power pitcher AND power hitter who can completely change a game on either side of the ball. 🔥

In the circle, Mak brings high velo, attacks hitters and pairs her velocity with an ability to change speeds that makes her incredibly tough to compete against. And when she steps into the box, you can expect the same kind of elite velo but this time coming off of her barrel! Her power is special, and there aren’t many athletes who can impact a game at such a high level both in the circle and at the plate.

But what makes this one even more exciting is knowing how much softball is still ahead of her. Mak has continued to work, develop and raise her ceiling every year she has been with us — and we cannot wait to watch what she does next!!

Congrats to Mak and the entire Bierman family on an incredibly well-earned opportunity! We are SO proud of you, Mak, and beyond grateful that Catalyst gets to be part of your journey. The Jacks are getting a SPECIAL one! 🐰💙💛

Our South Dakota Catalyst athletes are in Minnesota competing this weekend, and when tonight’s games got washed out, they headed straight to the Portolite Pitching Mounds Pitching Lab in our Catalyst Facility in Savage to get some work in with SD Director & Head of Player Development Bailey Lange. 💪

One of the coolest parts of continuing to grow Catalyst across Minnesota and South Dakota is giving our athletes access to coaches, technology, facilities and development opportunities no matter which side of the border they call home!

S/O to Desiree Hinsch Tenley Stevenson and Ahryana Drake for a great session!!! Special props to South Dakota State Softball commit & 18U Lange player, Des, for throwing absolute gas tonight clocking in right around 68 MPH 🔥

Best of luck to all of our athletes competing this weekend and let's hope the rain stays away 🤞

𝐀 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐖𝐄𝐄𝐊𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐃𝐀𝐊𝐎𝐓𝐀 🤩🥎

A huge thank you to South Dakota State University (South Dakota State Softball) and Coaches McSweeney, Bertke & Carrillo for inviting our 16U Catalyst National Smyth team to compete at the SDSU Fall Team Camp this weekend! 💙

Our group put together an awesome weekend, finishing 3-0 with a win Saturday and two more on Sunday. More importantly, our athletes had another opportunity to compete in a Division I environment, play in front of college coaches, and continue building relationships at the next level!

It was a pretty special weekend for Catalyst in South Dakota all around — official visits, a few Division I commitments, great exposure for our athletes, and the opportunity to have 2027 SDSU commits Desiree Hinsch & Kensi Johnson from 18U National Lange join us for the weekend and play on their future home field! 🐰💙

We are incredibly grateful to Coach McSweeney, Coach Bertke, Coach Carrillo and the entire SDSU Softball program for the invitation, hospitality, and opportunity they provided our athletes. Thank you for having Catalyst in Brookings!

A lot to be proud of and a lot more ahead!!!! 🩵
