An 18-hole Championship Golf Course in Sardis, Mississippi, with two golf villas, each consisting of 4 bedroom suites with kitchenettes overlooking the beautiful 58,000 acre Sardis Lake. An 18-hole Championship Golf Course and Practice Facility in Sardis, Mississippi, Mallard Pointe was rated one of the "Best Places to Play" by Golf Digest in 2004. The course was designed by Bob Cupp whose other

work includes Old Waverly Golf Club, Palmetto Hall, Pumpkin Ridge, Settindown Creek, Hawk's Ridge, Greystone, and Crosswater. The villas/cabins both consisting of 4 bedroom suites with kitchenettes overlooking the beautiful Sardis Lake. A Common Room in each villa allows groups to get together with the conveniences of a well-equipped full kitchen, table with seating for 8 and lounge area with a sofa, chairs, and television. There are 2 rooms downstairs each with 2 queen beds, bathroom, kitchen area with a refrigerator, microwave, sink, coffee pot, cups and coffee and 2 rooms upstairs that have 1 queen bed, bathroom and kitchen area with the same accessories. Now Hiring – Golf Course Maintenance Team
Mallard Pointe Golf Course seeks motivated and dependable individuals to join our Golf Course Maintenance Team.
This position plays a key role in maintaining high-quality playing conditions for our golfers and helping preserve the
beauty and playability of the course. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, take
pride in their work, and want to be part of a team that maintains a premier golf facility.
Key Responsibilities
• Mowing greens, tees, fairways, and rough
• Raking bunkers and maintaining sand traps
• String trimming and edging around course features
• Operating golf course maintenance equipment safely
• Assisting with course setup including hole locations, tee markers, and signage
• Tree and storm debris cleanup when necessary
• Maintaining course cleanliness and appearance
• Following all safety procedures and maintenance standards
Qualifications
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work early morning hours
• Previous landscaping, lawn care, or golf course maintenance experience is helpful but not required
• Willingness to learn golf course maintenance practices
Schedule
• Early morning shifts (typical start between 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM depending on season)
• Weekend availability required
• Full-time and part-time positions available
Compensation
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
• Opportunity for growth within the golf course maintenance team
• Playing privileges may be available
Work Environment
Golf course maintenance is a hands-on outdoor job that requires teamwork, attention to detail, and pride in
maintaining a quality facility. Employees will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and maintenance staff
to ensure the course is prepared daily for play.
