Three things in light of the rain storms blowing through Los Angeles right now:
1. Do we run/walk in the rain? YES WE DO! It can rain on Marathon Day (ask me about the legendary L.A. Monsoonathon), and we need to train for it. Don't skip this Saturday!
2. LEGGER VET'S DAY POSTPONED -- We will reschedule this event. You're going to be all covered up and we want to see your Leggers gear!
3. FOLLOW THE MAP THIS WEEKEND: We start by running NORTH to the California Incline to get in that first mile. The Turn-by-turn directions did not include this, but the map does.
Pro Tips: make sure you use plenty of Body Glide and wear a water repellant shell or a trash bag. Get warm as soon as you're done and try some newspaper in your shoes to dry them out.

See you at the beach!

Winter is coming and we need to ask, โWhat do we need to run in cold weather?โ We start by asking, โHow cold does it get here?โ In Santa Monica, the record low is 35 degrees. The average low in December and January is 49 degrees, but the average high is about 68 degrees. Opinions vary
