On April 25-26, we traveled back to Long Beach for Anteater Open hosted by ! ⛵️
Saturday had great warm weather ☀️ and we got to wear our costumes, while Sunday was a lot windier! 🍃We had so much fun racing and being out on the water! We can’t wait for next year! 💙💛

⛵️On the weekend of April 18-19, our sailors competed in the Mark Healy Open Fleet Race Championships in Long Beach!🏖️ There was great sunny weather all weekend and tough competition. Thank you to for hosting!

On March 21-22, the Bruins started off spring break right at South Designate at St. Francis Yacht Club! 💙🌊☀️ Though the weather was rough with lots of wind and waves, we still had a great time out there racing on the bay and qualified for conference championships!⛵️⛵️⛵️

On February 28 - March 1, the UCLA Sailing Team traveled to Lake Pleasant, AZ to participate in Cactus Cup!! 🌵🏜️ Our Bruins had such a fun weekend in the desert full of sailing and good times ☀️✌️Despite some postponements, we were still able get out on the water and have a blast! Thank you to ASU for hosting!

On February 7-8, our Bruins headed north to San Luis Obispo for Mustang Open, hosted by Cal Poly! What an AMAZING weekend it was for the team!! ⛵️💙

Our sailors were absolutely killing it out on the water!! Tommy R. and Lucia won four races 💥 and Tommy H. and Conrad placed first in two! The UCLA Sailing Team placed second overall ‼️🥈Congratulations to our sailors for such an OUTSTANDING performance!!

Besides the amazing racing, the weather was nothing short of perfect all throughout the weekend ☀️ There was on and off strong and light wind, and when we weren’t sailing, we were enjoying the beautiful views! Thank you to Cal Poly for hosting!

On January 24-25, our Bruins went to San Diego for Jeff Simon Open hosted by UCSD!! 🩵 It was nice and sunny throughout the weekend, and our sailors had a tubular time out on the water ⛵️🌊 UCLA ended up placing fourth overall!!! 🎉🎉🎉

Bruins show up whether it’s rain or shine… and sometimes, it rains. A lot! 🌧️🌧️🌧️

For our last regatta of the fall season, the UCLA Sailing Team set sail in Santa Barbara for the PCCSC Fall Championships, hosted by UCSB! The conditions were not exactly ideal with steady rain and extremely light wind the whole weekend. However, despite the stormy weather and multiple postponements, our Bruins stayed positive and had a fun time 🌈 We enjoyed hanging out under our tent, eating snacks, and even having some impromptu karaoke 🎤

As always, a BIG shoutout to our sailors who attended their first regatta this past weekend: Weston, Eric, Hannah, Bridget, Tommy R, Kiera, and Isabella! ⛵️🩵

This past weekend, the UCLA sailing team traveled to San Diego for the Frosh Soph Regatta hosted by UCSD! We raced in Mission Bay, where there was fairly light wind but beautiful weather all weekend ☀️😎 Everybody enjoyed the sunshine, the sailing, and the good vibes 🤙
