All this rain is good for our drought condition but bad for keeping shoes dry while hucking plastic. We are pushing the start of Random Dubs to the 20th to allow for some course work, filling in low areas with dirt and wood chips, as well as improving drainage.

The course IS open for the year, however so feel free to come out and get a feel for it before doubles start!

A huge Thank You to Lakeshore Restaurant for sponsoring our Inaugural Doubles Tournament on Saturday, June 27th! Because of their support, we are able to add $150 to the cash payouts for the top teams. Please considering patroning them on the day of the tournament and anytime your looking for food/ice cream in Dexter!

As a reminder, we’ll be playing 2 rounds of 18 with a basket change from A➡️B during a lunch break.

I’m throwing for more— more access, more opportunities, and more courses around the world. On June 20th , I’ll be playing as many holes as I can to raise funds for the Paul McBeth Foundation , helping introduce the sport of disc golf to communities across the globe. Your support will directly ...

Okay so here is a non-AI generated post for those offended by such things….

After a lot of reflection and plenty of criticism, some of which was constructive, I’ve decided not to have the BYOP doubles tournament on June 27. Instead, we will be doing a random doubles tournament. It’s going to be $25 all in per person. We will still do two rounds with basket change in the middle, with a CTP each round. There will not be a Food Truck as I won’t be able to guarantee attendance. Cards drawn at 0915 and first tee at 0930.

We will also be holding random dubs every Wednesday throughout the summer starting on May 6 at 5:30 PM.

Here it is! After years of steady work and improvements we are ready to make a mark. Between now and the middle of May, 18 new ground collars will be installed and we will have a B position. Basket locations will be marked on the sign by the parking lot. More info to follow!

The course is quite wet and we can’t get out to clean up downed trees from the winter yet. Hoping to be able to open for the season in a few weeks. Stay tuned for a tournament announcement next week

Little early season work. New pin locations means I need to clear up the spots where I want them to be. Taking advantage of the snow cover while it lasts and burning a big ol pile of brush

We will continue to be open until we have some consistent snow. As a reminder, while our land for the course is posted, it’s always safer to wear Orange this time of year.

See you soon

This putter was found near the basket on hole 8. Given the amount of dirt cover, I’d say it probably was lost last year. No name or number. It’ll be on the picnic table by the parking lot.

Bonus morning off work to get some fall clean up done. Got the heavy equipment out to take care of some annoying brush at the bottom of 18.

Clean up will continue this fall intermittently as we prepare to install 18 more ground collars. Every hole will have an A & B position that will periodically change throughout the year! A few will even have a different Par!
