Do you know what to do in an emergency at the club?

Thanks to generous donations from the Keithline family, we are fortunate to have an AED and other emergency equipment. The AED, severe laceration kits, and LifeVac choking kits are located on the upper level of the pavilion in the pictured enclosure. First Aid kits are located there, in both bathrooms, and in club motorboats.

The Green Country Volunteer Fire Department is the nearest first responder to the club. Instructions for reaching them by 911 are also posted in the pavilion.

Congratulations to Windycrest member Kris Bundy and his crew Fritz Lanzinger for winning the 2026 International 110 Class Championship! Kris and Fritz sailed so well they were able to skip the entire last day of racing!

The C Dock walkway has been put back into place. Thank you to the Vice Commodore and Past Commodore for their hard work this morning.

The nearest parking area to the water is at the bath house during floods.

Do not park on the ramp or in marked No Parking, Loading Zone areas.

It is imperative that the ramp remain accessible. We are obligated to provide access for emergencies and first responders. At this lake level, we are one of very few accessible ramps. At record levels, we may be the only accessible ramp.

Several WSC marked rowing dinghies are now placed around the shore to allow you to reach the docks. Please return the dinghies where and how you found them. Stow the oars inside the dinghies when not in use.

The water level continues to rise, but all slips are still accessible. Please come to the lake soon to check on your boats before that changes.

Club member Dan Jarrett and skipper Dan Borg just finished 2nd in the 2026 Hobie 20 North American Championship! They actually tied with winners Bart and Hobie Beck on points!

Give Dan a high five when you see him back at Windycrest!

2026 state boat registration expires at the end of June. Have you renewed yet? Several club members have been stopped by law enforcement in recent years, so don’t risk a ticket this summer.
