Store Hours and Stringing Capacity

We wanted to take a moment to update you on our store hours and racquet stringing services. As Daniel and I will still be out of town, the City Racquet Shop will be closed on June 8. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and encourage you to plan your visits either before or after this date, ensuring you’re stocked up and ready for your next game.

Additionally, we are currently at capacity for racquet stringing services for today and tomorrow. Any racquets dropped off this week will be processed and should be ready for pick-up by June 11. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to provide the best service possible. Thank you for being part of our community, and we look forward to seeing you back in the shop soon!

We changed how you enroll in the Play Tennis Challenge, and honestly? It's better this way. 🎾

Before you can join the 12-week challenge, you have to join our Tennis Den community first. Get active, make a post, get 5 likes, and reach Level 2. Then hop on a quick call with Bryan.

Why the extra step? Because this was never really about the free racquet. It's about finding your tennis people in the Bay Area.

Hello City Racquet Shoppers!
I hope you are ready for the summer and for those vacation times!

As we approach the busy summer season, I wanted to take a moment to thank all of our loyal customers for their continued support of City Racquet Shop. It is 12:15am May 31, I am at the shop right now as I'm currently working on 54 customer racquets in the queue, and it's your trust in our services that keeps us thriving. If you’re hoping to have your racquets ready for the weekend of June 5-7, please bring them in as soon as possible to ensure you have them in time.

A quick heads up: both Dan and I will be away from June 5-8. While Ari will be in the shop to assist with any needs, please note that we will have limited stringing options during this period. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to get your racquets in early so that we can serve you best.

→ Step 2: Be active in there — post a win, comment on someone else's, get to Level 2.
→ Step 3: Show up to the next enrollment Zoom (announced inside Tennis Den 1-2 weeks before each cohort kicks off).

That's it. Free to join Tennis Den. Free racquet if you finish the challenge. The community is the actual prize, if you ask us, but the tennis racket is pretty cool too.

June enrollment is open and the way in just changed 🏆

Quick rundown — the Play Tennis Challenge is 12 weeks of playing tennis, posting about it, meeting other SF tennis people, and (if you finish) winning a free $300 racquet on us.

The deal: post 1 tennis reel a week tagging for 12 weeks. That's the whole commitment.

Here's what's new for June:
Step 1 → Join our free Tennis Den community on Skool. Link in bio.
Step 2 → Be active in there. Post a win, comment on someone else's, hit Level 2 on the leaderboard
Step 3 → Show up to enrollment Zoom with Bryan.
Fri May 29, 6–7pm PT
Sat May 30, 9–10am PT

Same info both days. Pick what works.

Why the new way? Past cohorts taught us that the people who get the most out of this are the ones who actually want a community. Free racquets are great. The crew is greater.
