Yup, it’s true. The Springboard was designed at EHS in 2003 by our founder, master instructor and bestselling Pilates author Ellie Herman. 😌
The Pilates Springboard is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment you’ll find in a Pilates studio. Wall-mounted and spring-based, it builds strength, control, mobility, and coordination through full-body resistance training. 💪
At EHS Pilates, we offer Springboard group classes, private Pilates sessions, and Springboard teacher training certification through our Balanced Body authorized program.
Springboard is especially effective for Pilates rehabilitation and post-PT conditioning, because each limb works independently on its own spring, making it particularly good for finding and addressing imbalances. In other words, it’s as useful for rehab as it is for advanced training.
