Quilet had been a professional dancer for 17 years and a former member of the dance company ODC, Parsons Dance, and TRIP Dance Theatre among others. This inspired her to dive right in and become a Pilates instructor. She studied the Classical Pilates Method with Pilates Education Lab under Carol LeMaitre and Sharon Gallagher.
