HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ADAM! 🥳

For those who don’t know, 2026 has been a really, really tough year. Between the second great flood of Mission Valley (RIP 😭), tearing his bicep not once but TWICE, and undergoing two surgeries to repair it, Adam has had more than his fair share thrown at him.

And through all of it, he has never shown anything but positivity, optimism, resilience, and kindness to the people around him.

He took what could have been a devastating year and somehow turned it into something incredibly beautiful. With the help of our community, he rebuilt Mission Valley from the ground up, poured everything he had into ATR, and continued building these gyms into something so much bigger than four walls and some workout equipment.

Of course, Adam will probably refuse to take credit for any of it. But anyone who has spent time at ATR knows the impact he has had on this place and the people in it.

He believes wholeheartedly in what CrossFit is supposed to be: helping people live healthier, happier lives and creating a community where people genuinely care about one another. He leads by example, puts others before himself, works harder than just about anyone we know, and somehow still makes time to show up for the people around him.

Adam is truly the heart of ATR, and this community would not be what it is without him.

Beyond being an incredible owner and leader, he is an incredible father, husband, brother, son, friend, and human being. We are so incredibly grateful to have him leading this community and even luckier to call him our friend.

And if you don’t know Adam yet (which would be shocking because he knows EVERYONE), you should probably come meet him. Your life might never be the same. 😂

If you see him today, make sure you give him the BIGGEST happy birthday and an even bigger hug.

Thank you for everything you do, Adam. For ATR, for your coaches, for your members, and for this entire community. We love you very much and hope this next year gives back even a fraction of what you give to everyone else.

THANK YOU STAY CLASSY WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!

What a day for the ATR crew!! Our athletes showed up, threw down, and represented in a BIG way. 🔥

🥉 Jacob & Andrew battled their way to a 3rd place finish in Men’s RX!

🥇 Coach Steph took the top spot with a 1st place finish in the Coaches Division!

And a HUGE shoutout to Coach Alex & Paul for putting on an absolute show all day. This was Alex’s first time back on the competition floor in SEVEN YEARS.

All of you attacked every workout, pushed the pace, and reminded us just how fun it is to get out there and compete. 💪

And of course, a huge THANK YOU to all of our ATR friends who came out to support, cheer, and bring the energy all day long. Having our community on the sidelines makes days like this that much more special. 🫶

Big wins, hard work, and consistency paying off. 👏

🔥 Rose — 225 # deadlift × 3
💪 Lucas — First bar muscle-up
📈 Sid — Huge improvements in chest-to-bar pull-ups with serious volume paying off
🏋️ Adam — First time touching a barbell since the beginning of the year after TWO bicep surgeries. One rep at a time, and making awesome progress back.
⚡ Jordan — 365 # back squat for reps

PRs aren’t always about adding weight to the bar. Sometimes they’re about showing up after setbacks, trusting the process, and stacking small wins until they become big ones.

Congrats to all of you, we’re proud to be part of the journey. Keep putting in the work. 🚀

Some of our full-time ATR coaching team spent the past few days at the CrossFit Owners & Coaches Conference alongside 300 coaches and owners from around the world.

Two days of learning, connecting, sharing ideas, and finding new ways to become better. We’re proud to invest in our team so they can continue bringing the highest level of coaching, knowledge, and experience back to our community.

The best coaches never stop learning, and neither do we.

And to top it all off, we had an incredible time staying in San Jose to watch the CrossFit Games. What a week! 🩵🧡💛
