The October SDRC Raceway newsletter (Issue 3) is live, and Tommy Gerow is on the cover story after taking both Intermediate A-Mains at Endless Summer Round 5. He led all 22 laps of 17.5 Intermediate 2wd, then came from fifth on the grid to win 13.5 Intermediate 4wd.

The Team Associated 15th Annual Top Gun Shootout lands at SDRC Raceway December 11–13, 2026, and entries are OPEN right now. Entries are capped at 220 (plus class rounding), so if you've been waiting for a sign, this is IT!

- Friday: Doors at 10am, practice 10am–8pm
- Saturday: Doors at 8am, practice 8–8:30am, three rounds of Qualifying starting at 9am
- Sunday: Doors at 8am, practice 8–8:30am, Mains starting at 9am

ATTENTION RACERS: Brief Schedule Adjustment Tomorrow (Thursday)

Please note that the track will be closed for a private corporate booking tomorrow afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

We’re excited to welcome a team of local financial professionals swapping out the office grind to test their RC driving skills on SDRC’s clay surface!

What you need to know:
- Private Event Window: 2:00 PM – 4:30 PM (Facility & track closed to general public)
- Open Practice & Regular Hours: Resuming at approximately 5:00 PM

A quick reminder for everyone gearing up for the Top Notch Series at SDRC Raceway: this isn't just another weekend on the clay… Saturday, November 14th marks ROUND 1 of the series!

If you want a shot at the overall championship, you need points on the board early. Don’t start your season in a hole and playing catch-up.

Fees: $40 First Class | $30 Each Additional Class

Event Highlights & Details:
- Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
- Doors open at 8am, Racing at 10am.
- Format: 2 rounds of qualifying + mains
- Entry Fees: $40 first entry / $30 each additional entry
- Classes Running: Full lineup from standard sportsman/expert divisions up to BK Modified 2WD, Gas Truck, and the fan-favorite Vintage Classes (17.5 Vintage 2WD Buggy & 13.5 Vintage 2WD Truck)!

Friday Practice & Pit Spots:
- Practice will be open on Friday, November 13 (separate track fee applies).

2026 Endless Summer Series: where things stand with one round left.

Five rounds are done and the finale is coming up. These standings show where everyone would land once the season's drop rule kicks in. Only your best 4 of the 6 rounds count at the end. Since one round is still left, we've added up each driver's best 3 finishes so far, which gives a fair look at what the final totals could be after Round 6.

Here's how points work:
- Finishing Points: You earn points for where you finish in each round.
- TQ Bonus: The top qualifier in each class gets 1 extra point for that round. That's the asterisk next to a round score in the LiveTime results.
- Attendance Bonus: You also get 1 point for every round you race, even rounds that end up dropped. Showing up always pays.

A lot of classes are separated by just a few points, and several are tied. Round 6 will decide it. See you at the track!

Yeah, we know. Talk about short notice. A slot just opened up in Ryan's schedule, and we couldn't pass it up without asking you first. Sorry for the late heads-up, everybody.

So here's the deal: this is an interest check. If enough of you are in, we'll hold a Ryan Cavalieri Driver Clinic right here at SDRC Raceway. If not, we'll save it for another day.
