✨ MEET CAYLAN ✨
Instructor + Recital Coordinator
Caylan has been dancing for as long as she can remember — starting, like so many dancers do, in a tiny pink tutu. 🩰 Those first classes were fun, formative, and memorable, and that’s exactly the kind of experience she hopes to create for her own students today.
She has taught dance and cheer in various capacities for 10+ years and officially joined the Prep Academy team in 2024. You’ll most often find her with some of our littlest dancers in our preschool classes!
For Caylan, teaching is about so much more than dance. She says, “When these kiddos are in the studio with me, we aren’t just dancing together. I’m planting seeds that I hope bloom into confidence, kindness, and a deep love of dance that they’ll carry with them their whole lives.” 💕
Prep Academy also has an extra special place in Caylan’s heart. She’s gotten to watch it grow from an idea in her friend Miah’s mind into what it is today — and now she gets to help raise up the next generation of dancers, including her own daughter! ✨
FUN FACT: Before becoming a mom, Caylan worked as a graphic designer! She still loves putting her arts education to work designing wedding invitations and shirts, and painting when the mood is right. 🎨
