Short and sweet 6/13 race recap since our social media manager (Mom) is sick. Carter qualified 3rd out of 20. Due to the invert he started 4th in his heat and won! Started 3rd in the A main and finished 2nd! We are so proud of him! Each race he is improving and learning! He is now 1st in the Saturday series points and won $100. McKenna hung out with friends at the track and Landry was up to his usual shenanigans!

Carter went to stay with his cousins in SC right after the race so Mom collected his winnings and we celebrated his night at Waffle House without him 😂🏁

Next race is Tuesday 6/23!

Dad worked today so Mom helped Carter get his kart ready! She might be sick and exhausted but she is relying on Red Bull and Jesus to see her through 😂 Race moms are built different! Let’s go racing!! 🏁

A photo worth a thousand words! From 18th to 3rd!! Carter earned the “up on the wheel” award.

This race was crazy!! We left for vacation Saturday, Brad worked and made it to us at 2:30 Sunday morning. He stayed until Monday night when he and Carter drove home and was up early Tuesday. Brad worked while Carter prepped his Kart. Kenna, Landry and I stayed in the mountains. They made it to the track just in time and Carter qualified 2nd fastest out of 18. Unfortunately, there was a mishap and Carter had to scratch his heat race. That meant he had to start last in the A main. After a pep talk via phone call from Mom, he hit the track and was absolutely scootin’ through the pack, around wrecks, had fantastic restarts and finished 3rd…… from 18th to 3rd!!!!!!! He is the comeback kid! Never count him out! More wins are coming!!

Also shoutout to Ashley Peters and April Wells Snyder to stepping in to help, support and love on Carter while I was away! I’m so thankful for this crazy race life and community!

Tonight is race night Millbridge Speedway. Carter is ready to race! Dad will be flying solo as Mom and Kenna are out of town and will be watching on DIRTVision!

🏁 Saturday Race Recap – 5/30 🏁

What a night at the track! ❤️

Carter had an extra special cheering section this weekend! His Great Aunt Cathy came to watch him race for the very first time, and our cousins Danny, Kimmie, Ella, and Cam made the trip up from South Carolina. We loved having all of you there and appreciate the support!

Carter came out strong, qualifying P1! Due to the invert, he started 4th in his heat race. He battled some air pressure issues throughout the night but still drove his way to a P3 finish, securing his spot in the A-Main.

Starting P7 in the feature, Carter put together another impressive drive. After navigating traffic, staying patient, and surviving a late caution that set up a one-lap shootout, he crossed the finish line in P5!

The best part? That finish moved him up to 🥈 SECOND PLACE in points for the Saturday series! We couldn't be more proud of how hard he's working and continuing to improve every week.

Landry was a big help in the pits and for those wondering where Kenna is…. Unfortunately she broke her big toe and is out for a few weeks.

Carter also got his tire samples back from his win at the Outlaws Open and collected his $500 payout!

Way to go, Carter! Keep scootin’, buddy—we're having a blast watching your growth both on and off the track! 💙🏁

5/26/26 Race recap

Tonight was a tough one. Started out great with a P2 qualifier and a heat win! Started P2 in the A main. Unfortunately after a few restarts before completing a lap Carter was hit from behind really hard. It knocked the breath out of him and he had to pull in to the infield for a minute. He regained his composure and with a messed up right front and a crushed in rear he made a HUGE comeback from last to finish 6th.

While it wasn’t the finish we were hoping for coming off last weeks win…. This kid proved tonight that he can race! Everyone better watch out, he is hungry and determined to win.

Last night was a doozy!!

McKenna got wrapped up in a wreck that ended her night. It was a bummer for sure.

Carter went out determined to get the win and he did!! He took the lead early but thanks to a couple cautions it was a nail biter (momma’s nerves were shot), it was a great race! He has spent a lot of time watching old races and learning from them and to see him put that knowledge to work was awesome!

Of course we celebrated with a post race meal at Waffle House! Tradition is tradition 😂
