🏁❤️💛🖤 2026 TUESDAY SERIES RECAP — THE COMEBACK KID! 🏁

What. A. Season. 🏆

This season was anything but easy, but if there’s one thing Carter proved, it’s that you can knock him down, but you better believe he’s coming back swinging! 💪🔥

Our season started with heartbreak as we missed two races following the passing of Brad’s MeMaw. From that moment on, we were playing catch-up in the points battle. Of course, we’ll always wonder where Carter might have finished had we raced those two nights, but we wouldn’t trade being with family during that difficult time for anything. ❤️

And then came the setbacks. One after another. Just when things seemed to be going his way, something would happen to knock him back down. But Carter never quit. He kept digging, kept learning, and kept letting that natural talent shine! Somewhere along the way, he earned himself a pretty fitting nickname…

To say we’re proud would be an understatement. We’ve watched Carter grow tremendously this season, not just as a driver, but in his confidence, patience, racecraft, and determination. He’s learned that not every race will go his way, but what matters most is how he responds when it doesn’t.

And boy, has he learned how to respond! ❤️

As we officially close the chapter on Beginner Box Stock, we couldn’t be more excited (or maybe a little emotional 🥹) to see what BOX STOCK has in store for him next year!

🏁🏆 2026 TUESDAY SERIES FINALE RECAP! 🏆🏁

One last ride in the Beginner Box Stock 7L! 🥹❤️🏁 We had two special guests in the stands! Poppop Scott and Carter friend Lincoln.

Well, if there’s one thing we’ve learned this season, it’s that you can NEVER count Carter Lyon out! 💪🔥

Tuesday night definitely didn’t start the way we planned… and we may have learned a valuable lesson about eating too much pizza before a race! 🍕🤣

While strapped in and waiting for qualifying, Carter unfortunately got sick. 🤮 We got him cleaned up, made sure he was good to go, and sent him out, but he still wasn’t feeling 100%.

🏁 Qualifying: P16

Not exactly the start we were hoping for, but if you know Carter, you know he wasn’t about to throw in the towel!

🔥 Heat Race: P6 ➡️ Top 4!

Starting 6th, Carter knew he HAD to finish in the top 4 to punch his ticket straight into the A-Main. Despite still not feeling his best, he put his head down, went to work, and GOT IT DONE! 👊

🏎️ A-Main: P10 ➡️ P4!

By feature time, Carter was finally starting to feel more like himself, and BOY DID HE SHOW IT!

Starting 10th, he wasted no time working his way through the field! He battled his way up to 4th and even made a pass for 2nd! Unfortunately, a caution came out, sending him back to 4th with only a handful of laps remaining. 😩

He needed just a few more laps, and we truly believe he had a shot at something special!

But you know what? P4 after everything that happened that night felt like a WIN to us! 🏆❤️

The determination, grit, and heart this kid showed Tuesday night made us prouder than any trophy ever could.

🥹 AND JUST LIKE THAT… AN ERA COMES TO AN END. 🥹

Mom may or may not have shed a few tears when it hit her that she was strapping Carter into his kart for the very last time as a Beginner Box Stock driver. 😭🤧

From a little boy who begged for years to race, to the driver he has become today… what an incredible journey it’s been. We’ve watched him grow, learn, overcome challenges, celebrate victories, and develop a love for this sport that just keeps getting stronger.

It’s bittersweet closing this chapter, but goodness, what a chapter it has been! ❤️

Beginner Box Stock, you’ve been good to us. One CHAMPIONSHIP in the record books! But it’s time for the next adventure! 🏁🔥

We have some REALLY exciting opportunities coming for the 2027 season, and we cannot wait to share what’s next for Carter and Team Lyon Racing! 👀🤫🏎️

Do you believe in signs?? Mom does! Heading to the track after getting gas for the kart, her favorite song (and good luck song) came on. She turned it up and sang her heart out of course!! Last race of the season and we have big hopes for tonight. Boogity Boogity.. let’s go racing!!!

Tonight is the night! Last race of the 2026 season. Carter is sitting in 4th place. It’s going to be a heck of a night for these kiddos!

🏁❤️ TALK ABOUT A THROWBACK & A FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! 🏁❤️

Once upon a time, Carter and McKenna were just two little kids watching their Dad race DNQ at Millbridge Speedway. Little did we know those days would spark something that would become such a HUGE part of our lives! 🏎️💨

Carter caught the racing bug EARLY and spent YEARS begging to get behind the wheel. Eventually, his dream came true! Not long after, Sissy decided she wanted in on the action too… and well, the rest is history! 🏁

Fast forward to today, and the roles have completely reversed! Dad has traded his helmet for a wrench and is now Crew Chief for his two kiddos, helping them chase their own dreams on the very same track where they once watched him race.

And for this Mama? Talk about a FULL CIRCLE moment! 🥹❤️ Watching something that started with their Dad turn into a passion our whole family shares is pretty special.

And let’s not forget our littlest team member, Landry! He’s holding down the title of Jr. Crew Chief for now… but something tells me it’s only a matter of time before he’s begging for his own turn behind the wheel! 😂🏎️

From cheering for Dad on the sidelines to Dad cheering for his babies from the fence… what a ride it’s been! 🏁

Same dirt. Same family. A whole new generation of racers. 🏆 I see more CHAMPIONSHIPS on the horizon!

Last year, Carter finished 7th in points. He walked away from that season with one BIG goal in mind… COME BACK AND WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP!

And guess what?! HE DID JUST THAT!!! 🏆

But this championship is about so much more than trophies, points, and trips to Victory Lane. It’s about the countless hours of hard work, the determination to get better, the lessons learned from tough races, and the focus it took to never give up on a dream.

There were highs, lows, heartbreaking moments, and unforgettable victories. Through it all, Carter kept his head down, worked harder, and let his driving do the talking! 💪🏼

To say we are proud would be the understatement of the year. ❤️

This is only Carter’s SECOND FULL YEAR OF RACING, and watching him grow into the driver he is today has been one of the greatest experiences of our lives.

Carter, we hope you never forget this feeling. You set a goal, you believed in yourself, you put in the work, and YOU MADE IT HAPPEN! Never stop chasing those dreams, buddy. The sky is the limit! ❤️🏁
