Join Us for Northshore RunFest on August 30!

If you’re looking for a fun, energizing way to close out summer, we’d love to introduce you to Northshore RunFest, a race happening on Sunday, August 30th in Salem, MA.

This year RunFest is offering both an 8k and a 5k race for runners to choose from. The 8k is part of the USATF-NE Grand Prix, the Marblehead Road Racing Series, and the Wicked Grand Prix. The 5k is part of the New England Runner Pub Series.

There are also optional shirts and medals available for order, perfect for anyone who wants a souvenir to remember race day. We’ll be revealing the designs soon, so keep an eye out for the official announcement.

RunFest is built for everyone, whether you’re an experienced runner, a casual runner, or someone who just loves a great community event. When you join us, you’re getting much more than a race bib.

A registration includes access to the post‑race party, featuring live music and an on‑site food truck where you can purchase delicious food. You’ll also receive two Notch beverage tickets, redeemable for alcoholic or non‑alcoholic options.

Northshore RunFest is the perfect way to wrap up summer with movement, music, and community. If you’ve never joined us before, this is the year to try it.

The North Shore RunFest Presented by NorthShore® Adult Diapers is on Sunday August 30, 2026. It includes the following events: USATF Championship 8k Entry, 8k Run/Walk Entry (non-USATF members), and 5k Run/Walk.

Wild Turkey Run shirt and bib pickup information:
The last few years, the line on race day for those who pre-registered to pick up shirt and bib has been extremely long and we encourage runners to pick up their shirt and bib early at one the following sites:

We have added an extra local pickup option this year in addition to our annual pickup schedule.

Sunday, November 23, at East Regiment Brewery in Salem - 12pm to 6pm.

Tuesday November 25 at New England Running Company in Beverly 10am to 6pm
Wednesday November 26 at New England Running Company in Beverly 10am to 5pm

Please make every effort to pick up at one of the sites.

Hi Runners,

Thank you for signing up for the 21 annual Wild Turkey race. Race starts promptly at 8am at Mall Street on the Salem Common. Headquarters will be at the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) which is close by at the finish line. If you did not pick up your race number and shirt and are registered, you can pick it up in the morning beginning at 6:30am. If anyone needs to post enter the race tomorrow, you can sign up beginning at 6:45am at the PEM. It is expected to be very busy. If you need to come into the PEM, plan according and try to arrive early. The race will start at 8:00am regardless of anyone arriving late. We don't wait.

You cannot use the bathrooms inside the Peabody Essex Museum. There are port o potties on the Salem Common near the start. We are lucky to be able to use the Peabody Essex Museum for our race headquarters.

Awards - If you place in the top three in your age group, you will win an award. You can check your cell phone shortly after the race to see if you placed in top three and then come into the Museum to show your result on your phone at awards table and receive your award. (Make sure you stop over the timing matt at the start of the race so your time gets counted)

There are parking garages and a parking lot located near the finish line.

Wild Turkey Race Packet Pickup Information

Pick up information - Pre-race packet pick up w/ numbers & shirt plus a chance to win a free pair of Brooks running shoes will be held starting Tuesday, November 26 and Wednesday, November 27, from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at: New England Running Company, Commodore Plaza, 43 Enon St., Beverly or pick up race day from 6:30 a.m. at the Peabody Essex Museum Atrium on the Pedestrian Mall, Salem, Ma. Race starts promptly at 8:00am in front of the Witch Museum on the Salem Common.

Awards will be given out as soon as results are done by timing company, check your phones to see if you placed in top three in your division. You can pick up your award inside the PEM.

There are parking garages located nearby the start and finish.

The Wild Turkey Run will accept runners online until 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday November 26 and then will accept race day registrations starting at 6:45 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. We never close down registration completely, we accept runners right up to the start of the race. (The first 1600 entries will receive long sleeve shirts).
