Big weekend for Team Enigma at ADCC Atlanta.

🥇 Coach Isabel captured her first ADCC gold medal in the Intermediate -55kg division, finishing every match by submission.

🥈 Shelby stepped onto the ADCC stage for the first time and had an incredible performance, submitting all of her opponents on the way to the finals and earning 2nd place.

🥈 Eric battled through an injury and still fought his way to a 2nd place finish.

ADCC is one of the toughest tournament formats in the sport, and we’re incredibly proud of the effort, preparation, and resilience these athletes showed throughout the weekend.

The medals are great, but what we’re most proud of is the work that happens long before tournament day.

Congratulations to the team. Back to work.

What a great way to kick off the summer!

This weekend we had the opportunity to participate in the Kids 2 Park Day event and introduce a lot of awesome kids to martial arts. We worked on punches, kicks, and helped a few future champions “kick start” their summer with Team Enigma.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the event possible, stopped by our booth, and spent some time with us throughout the day.

We’re excited to see some new faces in class this week and continue building confidence, discipline, and friendships on the mats.

🔥 Competition Class Announcement 🔥

Starting next Saturday, we’ll be hosting a dedicated Competition Class from 9:00–11:00 AM.

This class is designed for athletes preparing for tournaments and looking to take their training to the next level.

What to expect:
• Competition-specific drills
• Positional sparring
• Situational rounds
• Live sparring
• Strategy and mindset for competition

This will be a No-Gi class and is open to both kids and adults.

This is not a fundamentals class. We won’t be spending time teaching basic movements or introductory techniques. The focus is on preparing competitors to perform when it matters most.

Whether you’re a Team Enigma athlete or train elsewhere, you’re welcome to join us. If you have an upcoming tournament and want additional rounds, tougher training partners, or a competition-focused environment, our doors are open.

Please note that competition class is subject to our tournament schedule. If our team is competing that weekend, class may be canceled so our athletes can represent.

If your goal is to compete, improve, and challenge yourself, this is the room you want to be in.

🇺🇸 Memorial Day Schedule Update 🇺🇸

First and foremost, thank you to all who have served and sacrificed for our country. We appreciate you today and every day.

There will be no evening martial arts classes on Memorial Day.

Instead, we’ll be hosting an open mat from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to come train, get some rounds in, and spend time with the team.

Pilates will still run at its normal scheduled time.

We’re honored to host a Memorial Day WeDefy Open Mat this Sunday from 10:00 AM–12:00 PM.

This event is open to everyone — whether you already train, have been curious about martial arts, or simply want to come support an incredible cause and community.

About WeDefy Foundation:
WeDefy provides combat veterans coping with military-connected disabilities a path to healing through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and physical activity.

One thing we’re doing a little differently this year:
Anyone who donates will be entered into a drawing for the chance to pie one of our coaches in the face 😂

All proceeds go directly toward supporting the WeDefy mission.

Huge shoutout to the Muay Thai Crew for leaving it all on the mats yesterday at the IKF tournament! 🥊

Watching this team navigate the chaos of the day and still execute with precision was nothing short of inspiring.

“They tried to bury us in a messy deck and stack the odds, forgetting that pressure doesn’t just break things—it forges steel.”
