Yesterday I decided our team gymnasts were going to learn gymnastics by watching it. We spent some of our practice watching the world’s team selection camp. I told them if they do gymnastics they need to watch gymnastics and have role models. They loved getting to know some of the USA Elite gymnasts and Skye Blakely was definitely one of their favorites. One girl said “I like Skye because when she falls down or makes mistakes she gets back up and keeps going.”

Parents, if your kid plays baseball, football or basketball I can almost guarantee they have a favorite player. Make sure your gymnasts do too!

THE 2026 WORLD ALL-AROUND CHAMPION 🤍🐊🏆

Blakely is the fourth gymnast to reach the World Championships All-Around final while representing the U.S. after competing in NCAA Women’s Gymnastics the same year!

I am so incredibly proud of these girls! New level, new skills and new routines. We made the decision to compete a couple months earlier than usual this season to gain more experience. Today gave us great insight on what we need to improve and what we are doing well. Win or lose we did what we came to do, have fun! Great job girls!
