Tryouts can bring excitement, pressure, confidence, disappointment, motivation… sometimes all at once.

Some players walked away with the outcome they hoped for.
Some didn’t.

But the mindset moving forward should stay the same:
keep showing up.
keep learning.
keep working.
keep growing.

A team, roster, or moment does not define your future.

The players who continue to improve are usually the ones who stay committed through BOTH success and adversity.

Use this moment as fuel.
Not fear.

A lot of times it comes from stepping into something new… a new environment, new expectations, new challenges.
You don’t always know what’s on the other side and that’s what makes it uncomfortable.

But that doesn’t mean it’s bad.
It usually means it’s exactly what you need.

You can’t always control what’s around you…
but you can control how you show up.

Your energy.
Your effort.
Your mindset.

Instead of fearing the change, lean into it.
Trust that you’re there for a reason.
