This week, something special was put up in the gym. We shared “Our Story” with all of you. However, it’s not just our story (Lauren and Brian) it’s also the story of our founders BarbaraJo and Vern Taylor. We wouldn’t be here without them.

Years ago in a meeting before we took over, I heard BarbaraJo talk about how she wanted to share “Our Story” with our tricks families. She wanted them to know us more deeply and understand the why of what we do, the love that goes into our work and how Tricks came to be. This was one project the Taylors weren’t able to complete before we took over as owners in 2023. (These people were busy!) It’s been my mission since then to put this together, not just for them or for us, but for all of you. Past, present and future to know us and our hearts.

So today, after years of planning, adjusting, fixing and readjusting, we shared this with the two people who started it all with a pinky promise what their legacy has meant to so many.

We hope you enjoy reading it the next time you’re in the gym and getting to know us a little more; the real people behind Tricks Sacramento 🩵

Another project and labor of love! A tshirt blanket with shirts throughout all the years sharing all 10 staff family values put all together. It took some searching to find them all but we did it!

Today is Tricks Sacramento’s birthday! 🎂🎉. On July 1st 2023 we cut the ribbon and made it official. We (Brian and Lauren) became the new owners and somehow we blinked and here we are three years later. This is just a glimpse into some amazing memories from year 3!

We couldn’t have gotten here without the vision of our former owners, Barbara Jo and Vern Taylor, who began Tricks Gymnastics Inc in 1990! Not just them but all of the staff along the way. The office members to answer the phones and help parents, the coaches to teach and guide, our events staff to make parties an unforgettable experience, the staff who give friendly smiles and welcome everyone in. Each and every single person helped us get to this point.

Thank you to all of those who have supported us on this journey! We’re ready and excited to see what year 4 has in store!
