Hitters Count is the the finest indoor Baseball & Softball training facility in the state of Maine.

We are an indoor training facility for baseball & softball players of all skillsets. We offer cage rentals, private instruction, membership programs and much more! We also book events and work with organizations on bulk reservations on a case by case basis. This facility is also the Official Training Home of the Southern Maine River Rats travel baseball/softball organizations.

We’re looking for reliable, outgoing individuals who enjoy being around the game and can help create a great environment for our athletes and families.

What we’re looking for:
Preferably 16+
Baseball and/or softball background
Responsible and dependable
Comfortable interacting with players, parents, and coaches
Available for afternoon/evening and weekend shifts

Our 2026 SM River Rats Fall Baseball season is almost here!
We still have a few roster spots available and will be holding our final open tryouts on:

Fall Baseball is a great opportunity for players to continue developing their skills, compete against quality competition, and prepare for next spring.
