💗🤠 Pink Out meets Woody’s Roundup at LEAD!

This weekend, we wore pink in honor of breast cancer survivors—especially our very own warrior, Rosie! 💕 Our riders also explored our Toy Story–themed Tack Trail obstacle course, identifying tack, collecting character stickers, and practicing their riding skills along the way. 🐴⭐️

Friendship, courage, and a little cowboy magic—“You’ve got a friend in me!” 💗

You show up, lend a hand, and bring patience, kindness, and encouragement to our riders. From preparing horses to walking beside a rider and helping clean up afterward, your time and care make every lesson possible.

Behind every rider’s smile, every new skill, and every moment of confidence is a team of people who care deeply. I am so grateful for ours.

This is why we do what we do! ❤️🐴

A recent survey by the New Mexico Department of Health revealed that 50% of all New Mexico families with children with mental health challenges had NO access to help for their kids. In rural areas, we know this number is possibly even higher.

That's why LEAD Therapeutic Riding fills such a vital need in our community and in our state.

Many of the children we serve struggle with mental health and behavioral issues. Through their work with us, they learn to trust, to open up and to develop skills for coping.

And we provide this at low to no cost for their families.

We can do this entirely because of the generosity of our donors, community supporters and tireless volunteers.

Together we are changing lives and making a difference for the families of New Mexico.
