It’s said that the two most important choices in a man’s life is who he serves and who he has chosen to marry

Let me testify that loving GOD for just Him and not just his blessings.. He gave me one of the greatest gifts that Heaven has signed off on

I want to thank everybody that was apart of this moment that me and my now fiancé will cherish forever.

The combining of both our villages becoming one is something that brings tears to my eyes. From my coach , to my brothers , mom , cousins and nieces to her mother , father , godmother , auntie , etc.

Don’t just embrace the good about you but embrace the bad that YAH turned good. We all are human so we all have struggles , generational curses to break , pass traumas etc. but how can YAH work through something when you refuse to acknowledge it? It’s only when we surrender and allow ourselves to be broken… that YAH can give us the strength to truly overcome. Once you have overcame that struggle don’t be afraid to share what no long bonds you to someone else. You don’t know how powerful it is to help free someone else’s shackles that used to shackle you.

Dear Marcus,

28 years ago today, YAH brought you into this world. As a yungin, you swore you had it all figured out. Your dad and Kobe was your favorite basketball players and nobody could tell you that you wasn’t next in line. Never wanting to play 5 on 5 but 1 on 1 was where you thought you found your niche. You hated losing the most, quite often not shaking anyone’s hand that beat you. Well Marc, I can tell you that fiery spirit didn’t go to waste. This year marks year 10 of being in the hardest sport in the world. I remember when you first stepped into Jabs gym, overconfident and prideful, needing to be humbled. Safe to say , coach Greg , answered that call.

6 professional fights later you’re still undefeated but you don’t fight alone no more. You have a growing and loving fan base, plenty of friends and family, and now a special woman to call your home. You may have hated losing back then but I’m here to tell you… at age 28 today you’re winning at life.

I just want to take this time to say thank you to the Most High God for my loving parents, my friends that became brothers and sisters, my coaches that became mentors, my longtime girlfriend that will become my future wife, and everyone else that has supported me in any way ❤️

December 27th … before I say anything I have to thank the Almighty YAHUAH for strengthening me in times this season where I didn’t know if I had any left. Left and right it seems my faith was getting tested. Times where my flesh wanted to give up , I remained in that secret place and YAH answered that call everytime. If much is given much is required and that couldn’t be anymore true in this season for me.

I have to thank my coach who has been with me through the mud and I honestly wouldn’t be where I am today without him. From opponent changes to 6 weeks of training crammed into 2 weeks. If anyone deserves flowers it’s my coach

I thank for helping in the corner and all my sponsors for being apart of this journey with me .of.ascent and so many more

I want to thank for all the work done to make this fight happen.

My family and friends , I can’t thank yall enough for showing up for me this night. It meant the world to me and I’ll never forget it. I truly have the best support in the world and best team in the world

Last but certainly not least… my heart .. day in and day out you have seen the ugliest sides of me , the frustrated sides of me and the overall lowest of the lows.
