We have a busy Labor Day weekend ahead of us! We're excited to explore the Underground with you. Crystal Kayak and Sup Glow tours are completely full for the long weekend. ☀️

Classic Kayak and Boat tours are full for Saturday and Sunday, but we still have a few spots available on Monday. Grab them while you can!

There's ONE piece of advice that all past visitors seem to agree on, and that is 100%, without a doubt, the importance of DRESSING WARM for your tour. And we concur! 🧥🧤

It's ALWAYS approximately 52 degrees underground and, especially during the summer, that's a noticeably stark difference from the outside temperature.

We recommend wearing light, athletic layers, a warm jacket, thick socks, and even gloves if your hands tend to get cold. In the dark without the sun shining, 52 degrees is a lot chillier than you think, so bundle up! 😄

When's the best time to visit The Gorge Underground? ⏰

Because the temperature in the mine is always ~52 degrees, visitors can explore from morning to evening almost any time of year. It's also an ideal rainy day activity because you're shielded from the elements underground.

We operate on a limited schedule in winter, but we still run tours in every season. ☀️ 🍁 ❄️ ☔
