The lineage of the technique that is available at Wyo Faction can be traced directly to the roots of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu through Professor Dave Ruiz of Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, whom had the privilege of learning directly under Grandmaster Helio Gracie, as well as later with Master Rigan Machado, to his student Professor Robert Wunderlich, also of Colorado Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, down to Instructor Dave Wenig, whom now brings Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to Rock Springs.

We had our semi-annual promotions day yesterday. Congratulations to everyone that leveled up, especially to Courtney Gibbs for earning her Blue Belt and Jimmy Mackie for earning his Brown Belt! Great work!

The team competed at the Grappling Industries tournament this past weekend in Salt Lake City, and boy did everyone do great! In addition to several gold and silver medals, we took home the Overall Team Champion award! I'm proud of absolutely everyone that came down to compete and support! Big thanks to Coach Dustin Tucker for all your work getting the MMA team ready for this!
