This season, we’re seeing things in BLACK & WHITE. 🖤🤍

🩵 WELCOME BACK TO AIM, CANDY BEDARD! 🩵

We are SO excited to officially welcome Candy Bedard back to the Artistry in Motion family! Candy was once a part of our staff, and we couldn’t be happier that life has brought her back to us. 🤍

Candy brings an incredible amount of experience to AIM. She previously served as Assistant of the RSHS Gymnastics Program and Director and Head of Rock Springs Gymnastics and then stepped away to focus on raising her beautiful family and her teaching career with Sweetwater #1, where she is now retired.

And now…she’s ready to get back to what she loves! 🩵

This season, you’ll find Candy teaching:

✨ Tumbling 2

✨ MEET MEGAN WILK! ✨

Megan has been part of our AIM family for quite some time now, and we feel incredibly lucky to have her! 🤍

Megan brings so much dedication, talent, and heart to our studio. She genuinely cares about her dancers and loves watching them learn, grow, and become more confident both in and out of the classroom. Her commitment to AIM and the families she teaches never goes unnoticed, and we are so grateful for everything she brings to our team.

We can’t imagine AIM without her and are so excited to have Megan back for another amazing season! 🖤🤍

Dance style you love to teach:

my favorite style of dance would have to be hiphop! I love teaching the basics all the way to the more advanced skills and details. It’s so special to me when I see kids falling in love with it and finding their own grove and style.

Favorite dance memory:

My favorite dance memory will forever be watching my daughter dance on stage for the first time, and realizing how much she loved it, like I did when I was little.

Something dancers don’t know about me:

I love to play volleyball! I took a little break from dance when I was younger and played volleyball in junior high and high school.

Words to live by:

Fun fact:

I have lived in Wyoming my whole life and have never been to Yellowstone!

We are so excited to announce that Artistry in Motion is officially a Certified Twinkle Stars Dance Studio!

Beginning this season, our youngest dancers will experience the Twinkle Stars curriculum—a thoughtfully designed, age-appropriate program created specifically for little dancers! 🩰

🌟 Twinkle Stars | Ages 3–4
✨ Sparkle Stars | Ages 5–6

This curriculum allows us to introduce dance through movement, music, imagination and FUN while building coordination, confidence, classroom skills and a strong foundation for their dance journey.

Because those very first dance classes matter. 🤍

✨ MEET OUR NEWEST STAFF MEMBER — DESIREE POWELL! ✨

We are so excited to welcome Desiree Powell to the AIM family this season! 🤍

Desiree brings so much kindness, positivity, and a beautiful knowledge and love of dance to our studio. We are thrilled to have her sharing that passion with our dancers during Season 21!

💃 DANCE STYLE YOU LOVE TEACHING

Jazz! I love teaching jazz because it’s energetic, fun, and gives dancers the opportunity to bring their own personality into every performance.

⭐ FAVORITE DANCE MEMORY

I have always loved dancing, performing, and competing, but my favorite dance memories now come from teaching.

There is something incredibly rewarding about watching a student finally master a move they’ve worked so hard to learn. Seeing my dancers perform and watching their passion and love for dance grow is one of the most fulfilling parts of being an instructor.

🤍 SOMETHING DANCERS MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT YOU

I come from a big family! I have seven brothers — six older and one younger — which makes me the only girl!

I loved growing up surrounded by a big family, so having five children of my own felt completely natural. Family is incredibly important to me, and I cherish the love, support, and connection that comes with having a close-knit family.

“Choose your hard.”

It’s something my mom always told me. She reminded me that life is hard no matter what, but we get to choose which challenges we are willing to face.

She also loved to say, “Life is hard, but you can do hard things.”

Those words have taught me to embrace challenges, work through difficult moments, and keep moving forward even when things get tough.

🎉 FUN FACT

I love cooking and baking — although deciding what to make might be the hardest part! 😂 I’ve always loved being in the kitchen, whether I’m making a meal or baking something sweet.

And I’m definitely a Dr Pepper fan — especially with coconut! 🥥🥤
