OH, WE COMPETE! 😤🔥🥋

From their first day on the mats to stepping into the competition arena, THIS is what we train for! 💪

25 years ago today, our country lost 2,977 people: mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends. And hundreds of firefighters, police officers and first responders gave everything running toward the danger.

Jiu-jitsu teaches us that strength means protecting the person next to you. On September 11th, heroes showed us what that truly looks like.

Today the Flow Academy family pauses to honor them. We will never forget.

Hace 25 años, nuestro país perdió a 2,977 personas: madres, padres, hijos, hijas, amigos.

Nunca olvidaremos.

Some days, being on the mat is the win.

You do not have to feel like the best person in the room to belong here. Jiu-Jitsu is built through the hard rounds, the tough days, and the choice to keep showing up when quitting feels easier.

At Flow Academy BJJ Riverside, we train for more than technique. We train discipline, confidence, resilience, and the courage to keep growing one class at a time.

If you are still in the room, you are still moving forward.

At Flow Academy, class etiquette is all about creating a safe, respectful, and positive space for everyone on the mats. These simple habits help students grow in discipline, focus, and confidence while supporting their teammates and coaches.

We’re proud to build more than skills — we’re building character, community, and a love for the art.

If you’ve been looking for a supportive place to start, we’d love to welcome you.

Your belt is a map, not a finish line. Comment “TRIAL” and we will send you the trial class info.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, every color tells a story. White belt is where courage begins. Blue belt builds resilience. Purple, brown, and black represent deeper understanding, leadership, and years of consistent growth.

For kids, the journey looks a little different — and that is exactly how it should be. At Flow Academy, children can start as young as 3 years old, building confidence, focus, respect, coordination, and discipline one class at a time through the youth belt path.

The goal is never to rush the belt. The goal is to help every student become stronger, calmer, more confident, and more capable on and off the mat.

This is why we say: More Than Martial Arts. A Way of Life.

If you are in Riverside and ready to start your chapter, book a trial class with Flow Academy BJJ Riverside today.

Comment TRIAL and we will send you the trial class info.
