We’re back home after having a great time racing at Maryland International Raceway yesterday with the East Coast Index Series at its inaugural race. I had a tough time getting a hold of the nitrous tune up, I should’ve just changed the jets and put in more power…. Live and learn… Made it to the second round, lost with a 5.63. Reaction times are getting better. We’ll be at Cecil County Dragway in 3 weeks and go back to our normally scheduled 8.50. I’ll do my best to keep y’all updated. So this past weekend went like this, first qualifying shot went went an 8.32@162 notice wrong side of 8.50….. second qualifying pass went 8.697@128…. Right side of 8.50, but I obviously lifted cuz I knew I was going too fast in that one…. Third qualifying shot I took out some power and switched the jets figured I’d run it all out and I went [email protected] I knew I was breaking out, but I stayed in it to see what I’m working with…. Wrong side of 8.50 again…. Went to the drawing board and messed around with the ramp in the progressive (honestly I should’ve stopped there) but anyone that knows me I think way tooooo much… so I thought I’d break out even with what I did so I threw 115 pounds in the car to slow her down…. I was rewarded with an [email protected] … like I said I should’ve left it alone and I would’ve done better( it saying I would’ve won the round either way, but I think it woulda been a lot closer) either way I lost to Billy Verzilli and he did a fine job. Now I’d like you all to know, yes I am friendly, yes I’m always smiling and yes I am a funny muf**ka, but don’t get it twisted I am currently learning everything I need to figure this out. I lean on some of you(I hope you know who you are… j appreciate you!) sooner than later I will be consistent & I will be smiling then too…. And when the winning comes I’ll still be smiling just like I do when I lose….. I take this very serious…. You’ll just never know how much is running around I. This bald head O mine.
