Our annual CPR/AED training is underway across all STAR Physical Therapy clinics! ❤️

These photos are from yesterday's training session in Springfield, where our team sharpened and practiced the lifesaving skills needed to respond when every second counts.

While we hope these skills are never needed, staying prepared is essential to providing exceptional care to our patients and communities.

Yesterday, we wrapped up our regional new grad mentorship!

We had five STAR Physical Therapy clinicians join us, along with three physical therapy students, one from Belmont University and two from South College, as we covered the hip and SI joint.

Our New Grad Mentorship Program is a yearlong program designed to support clinicians as they transition into practice through a combination of one-on-one mentoring and collaborative group learning with colleagues across their region.

We're committed to supporting the next generation of physical therapists by offering students opportunities to participate in regional mentorship sessions and attend residency courses throughout the year.

Investing in mentorship and continuing education helps us build stronger clinicians and deliver exceptional care to our patients!

Bud McGiboney and Dan Headrick recently had the opportunity to work with the linemen at Caney Fork Electric Cooperative, Inc. to complete a Job Demands Analysis.

Many of us take having power at the flip of a switch for granted, but behind that everyday convenience are hardworking linemen. From responding to outage calls to 24-hour emergency shifts and working in extreme weather conditions, they show up every day ready to serve others and play a vital role in keeping our communities powered.

At STAR Physical Therapy, we are honored to partner with them and support their health and well-being so they can continue doing the essential work our communities depend on.

Last week, Janiya Taylor, PTA, and Megan Greene, STAR West TN Marketing Director, had the opportunity to speak with students at Ripley Middle School about careers in Physical Therapy during their career fair!

With approximately 225 students coming through the event, it was incredibly encouraging to hear about their goals, dreams, and future career aspirations— especially from those interested in pursuing a career in Physical Therapy. 🤩

At STAR, we are passionate about investing in the communities we serve and helping inspire the next generation. We are grateful to RMS for allowing us the opportunity to share more about STAR and the incredibly rewarding career path that Physical Therapy can offer.
