Warriors in Bloom is just days away 👀

We are excited to return to the stunning grounds of Agecroft Hall & Gardens this weekend for the second iteration of Warriors in Bloom, a renaissance faire-style event celebrating fierce viragos throughout the ages.

This year will feature an immersive quest where you can interact with the viragos being brought to life to learn more about their cultural backgrounds and experiences.

Live performances by Ultra Bleach 𝓢𝓸𝓻𝓪𝔂𝓪 𝓢𝓲𝓵𝓮𝓷𝓮 femmeceltique Spooky Hollow Storytellers Haunts of Richmond ErinGoHarp and a special performance by the Virago Alley Character Troupe. Plus live DJ sets provided by Boy Lichtenstein and Mike Spurlock from WRIR-LP 97.3 FM Richmond, VA in The Tavern throughout the day.

Some of the Ren Faire guilds will be returning to offer demonstrations and workshops including historic combat and martial arts, puppetry with All The Saints Theater Company improv comedy with Coalition Theater blacksmithing demos with Join or Die | Handmade Knives herbalists displays with the RVA Herbalist Alliance bread making with Vivify Gardens and Apothecary an interactive scriptorium with The Scrapptorium and fae wish archiving and trinket trading with Richmond Fantasy & Folklore Society ✨

Natalie / 恒绸 will showcase Qi Gong, Gongfu fundamentals, traditional tea ceremony experiences, and a Shaolin staff demonstration on the side lawn.

Games and activities provided by Gamesmaster Games throughout the grounds as well as face painting by Nikki G's Fancy Faces and fairy hair with REAL FAIRY HAIR ✨ DREADLOCKS 🔒 BOHO BAR 🌊 FESTIVAL BRAIDS 💖 ✨And in your down time browse wares and fares from over 60 artisan and food vendors.

Warriors in Bloom continues to serve as a celebration of Richmond’s creative communities while empowering folks to embrace their inner whimsy and connect with practices that have stood the test of time. We love this city and we look forward to seeing you all this weekend 🖤
