We announced yesterday we planned to try to run a regular show Friday if Mother Nature allowed as that was our approved day to race by the Judge.
With another track now running Friday, I edited that post to avoid confusion, as we don't want to compete for cars and fans as no one wins doing that.
We were under the impression we were all sticking to what was discussed for racing this weekend when we announced our Friday plan, that then obviously changed.

Attention-
This is not the announcement we wanted to make.

After discussions between all participating tracks, the difficult decision has been made to cancel Kentucky Speed Week.

With high chances of rain forecast throughout the entire week, combined with the rising cost of fuel and travel expenses for teams, we felt it was in everyone’s best interest to make this decision now rather than wait until the last minute.

Making this announcement early allows teams, drivers, crews, and fans time to adjust their schedules and make other plans for the week.

We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding. While we’re disappointed that Kentucky Speed Week won’t take place this year, we believe this is the right decision for all involved.

Lake Cumberland Speedway Dirt Racing will run a regular show on 6/13/26.

Thank you to the tracks, teams, sponsors, and fans who were looking forward to this inaugural event. We look forward to bringing bigger and better racing opportunities in the future

We would like to thank everyone who attended our Fan Appreciation Night.
Huge thank you to Waco Fire/Rescue Station #14, our track staff and security for their excellent work with the situations that arose last night.
We do apologize for the dust we had certain spots on the track as after 6 inches of rain the past 7 days, our goal was to keep the track together so some of the track prep was handled differently which will cause dust.
We hope everyone will join us for our portion of Kentucky Speedweek Friday June 12th.
