Our Cuban Salsa for Salseros
Will be a 2-month introduction to the principles of Cuban Salsa (Casino), created specifically for dancers who already have a solid Salsa On1 foundation.
Casino is more than Rueda calls and combinations. At its core, it’s a lead-and-follow partner dance, with its own movement, structure, connection, and way of navigating with a partner.
During this series, we’ll introduce the foundational principles of Casino, including:
💃 Lead & follow mechanics
🕺 Cuban movement and footwork
🔄 Circular partnerwork and transitions
🎶 Timing, musicality & connection
🇨🇺 The principles behind the movements you see in Rueda de Casino
Rather than simply learning what comes next, we want you to begin understanding why the movement works, how it is led and followed, and how to dance Casino with a partner outside of a Rueda.
Think of this series as your introduction to the language of Casino—building a foundation that we can continue developing in future classes.

Intermediate Salsa experience or instructor permission required. Once you have completed this series, you will be welcome to attend our once a month Int. Cuban Workshops
