14 years ago, our event, Pulling For Our Little Heroes , was inspired by the wish of a little girl named Kylee.

Kylee’s wish was simple, but incredibly powerful:

She wished that no other child would ever have to suffer from cancer.

Her wish has lived on for the past 14 years through this community. Every year, we come together to lift, compete, sweat, and most importantly, give back in honor of the little heroes.

We will continue to carry Kylee’s wish forward.

🎗️All money raised goes directly to our friends at the Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation NNCCF helping children and families affected by childhood cancer.

Iron sharpens iron.

Brothers Aidan and Leo Cruz have spent this year working hard, pushing each other, and getting better together.

We love seeing siblings train side by side- not just competing with each other, but encouraging each other, holding each other accountable, and helping each other grow.

This week, we get to watch Aidan take the next step in his journey as he heads off to play baseball at Ohlone. We couldn’t be more proud of him and excited to see what’s ahead.

And we absolutely love the heartfelt messages they left for each other. ❤️

Keep working hard, boys. Keep pushing each other. And never stop helping each other get better.

Our goal has never been to simply create stronger athletes. It’s to help create adults who value discipline, resilience, and strength for the rest of their lives.

We hope every kid who walks through our doors develops a lifelong love for strength and taking care of themselves.

This video is 11 years in the making. From a 13-year-old learning the basics, to a 24-year-old who still chooses to invest in himself and challenge himself to be better than yesterday.

Thank you, Jace, for letting us be a small part of your journey. Keep learning, keep growing and always investing in yourself! We couldn’t be more proud.

Happy 12 years Calavera famOLY!
Looking back through these photos reminds me that it wasn’t just about lifting weights. It was about creating a community where people of all ages could grow stronger not just physically but mentally and emotionally and always together as a famOLY.

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this incredible 12-year journey. From a dream starting in a garage to helping raise over $1 Million for local childhood cancer warriors. We are beyond grateful for every chapter we’ve shared together.
