The Marshal's Office is preparing to post these ROV reminders around town. These are not new rules, but some visitors do not know them by heart. PLEASE PLEASE forward this post to your fellow ROV friends. Folks that choose not to acknowledge or observe the rules are causing frustration in town. It is up to us as business owners and residents to help educate ROV owners that are new to Red River. This will help our Marshal's Office as well. Lots of people and businesses benefit greatly from ROVs in Red River and we can coexist respectfully!

We are very grateful to the Town of Red River and Red River Marshal's Office for simplifying the ROV rules and allowing ROVs to use Main Street now! This also carries a BIG RESPONSIBILITY for those of us who enjoy riding to make sure to obey all traffic and safety rules and prevent ROVs from becoming a nuisance to visitors and residents. The Marshal and deputies know that we train all of our renters well, and they will not hesitate to ticket you!

In our neck of the woods, ROVs are for sightseeing, not extreme sports. Now get out there and (safely, respectfully, responsibly) enjoy the mountains!
